Not surprising at all. Watford bought him for 30m and they probably think they can come back to PL again next season. No chance they will sell him below 40m this year no matter how much people valued him as player. It’ll be different story if they fail to come back to PL next season though.

Same chairman who demands £70m-80m for Zaha. Cretin.

PL clubs especially outside top 6 love high ridiculous demand on their players but want to buy cheap like peanut. West Ham wanted 60m for Issa diop last year and they could only offer 30m for Tarkowski this year who’s actually better centreback than Diop.

Why do people consistently hate on our best players? (Pogba)
To be fair Pogba gets it the worst by far. All the negative stuff (mostly fair criticism though) about him is constantly being repeated and everything positive about him gets forgotten in a week. Although he's been genuinely bad lately.

Benrahma update: the deal will now be a loan with a purchase obligation

Unlikely, but wouldn't put it past the club.

Of all the deadwood that we could have let walk out of the club for free over the last few years, the one with actual value (Herrera) was allowed to walk for free. Whereas the likes of Jones, Periera, Rojo and Lingard have been given lucrative contracts that are now impossible to shift.

I see Woodward getting a lot of praise for being a brilliant businessman. What competent businessman lets a £30 million asset (Herrera) walk out for free when others who contribute next to nothing continue to suck money from the club.

I don’t know about the hate but wanting to move on from him is probably not a symbolic of hating. Pogba’s contract is expired in 2022, should we give him new contract which means payrise or should we sell him. Both United & Pogba haven’t been work out together, does he deserve a pay rise? No. So the obvious choice is to sell him.
