Fair play to Arsenal for signing Partey. I definitely didn't expect them to pay his release clause.

Ibrahimovic was brought in prior to our supposed 'cultural shift', under another manager with very distinct objectives from those we're apparently pursuing now. Aware of our recent history regarding 'experienced' players - don't think it's relevant to say 'we've done it before and it was ok' given the context was different in these cases. What has changed - Cavani was a free agent months ago? Why fill the deadline day vacuum with his transfer? Feels like misdirection. What does 'class is permanent' mean exactly? Class like Falcao, Di Maria, Schweinsteiger?

Come on Utd don't let Arsenal steal deadline day headlines with Partey, keep pushing for this loan for dembele whether it's option or obligation to buy and despite how mad it sounds just pay up if they aren't willing to accept either.
