Come to England and visit each one of the 740 NHS workers families who lost their family member to this virus by them simply treating people with Covid in hospital. They were killed by it so it's clearly deadly. When did the seasonal flu ever kill more than 700 NHS staff in 5 months from simply attending work? It never happened... that's when.

You can't put brains where there is nothing though as a wise man once said.
Well said.

  • Jose Callejon would potentially replace Chiesa.
  • Fiorentina have also been offered Josh King.

Operation DEMBELE - MEMPHIS heats up

Ousmane begins to have doubts to continue in FCB
United continues to ask for the loan + purchase option
FCB continues asking for a permanent transfer for the player --- If Ousmane leaves the League limit allows them ... MEMPHIS

FCB has OK from Memphis on a possible contract [offer]
Lyon wants to sell because the contract ends next year. The president said today that before Friday he can get 2 important players.

La Liga's limit will mark this the final transfer [for Barcelona]

Also:

  • The intermediary in the Smalling will come in to Roma's headquarters on Friday to resolve the impasse.
  • Roma line up Antonio Rudiger on loan as an alternative.
  • Roma are interested in including Diogo Dalot on loan in a potential Smalling deal.

We aren’t buying anyone are we?

Depends if other clubs except offers way below what they want.

Should throw in some cases of wine and a few boxes of watches or whatever tat United help advertise, maybe that might help.

It's really comedy the way Woodward and crew do transfers.

But they will get at least one over the line this week.....surely!!!

So Roma are planning to take Dalot to knock down Smalling's price? Fair play to them.

Yeah you maybe right but what happened to fridge he seems to be not posting much on Lower leagues lack of transfer action there due to covid or he had given up due to constant back and forth between his supporters and detractors.
It's a shame, I prefer to see Fridge's transfer posts rather than some obscure european one.

I have to agree with K-Stand - selling Henderson to Chelsea (even for £50m) would be an insane idea. He was the best keeper in the league last year. What does the failings of Pickford et al have to do with that? He'll be our keeper for the next decade. He'll be better than de Gea - who has frankly been no better than average for the past 3 seasons now.

You can agree with that, and that's your prerogative. It is one of the main reasons why United never sell players when their value is high, which was the original question.

Lots of United fans held the same opinion about Lingard after 2017-18 which in hindsight was the best time to sell him.

They want the loan fee for Dalot to be included in the Smalling transfer fee.

Lazio almost certainly paid us 1-2m loan fee to take Pereira.

Slavia Prague president Jaroslav Tvrdik confirms full back Vladimir Coufal's transfer to West Ham.

I thanked the huge warrior and heartfelt Vladimir Coufal for his excellent work in Slavia. He transfers to WHU on the basis of a concluded contract. The condition of the transfer is a medical examination tomorrow in London. The transfer price is 6 million euros. Vlado, let them give you PL!

Basically loan Dalot for free? Not too bad if you ask me. If Roma get Dalot to do well on loan, his market value can increase when we sell him next season. Better than him stuck by, and play a handful of useless games to see his value tank.

Dembele situation feels a bit like Di Maria. Doesn't really want to leave and being forced out. On top of that he doesn't have a great injury record and didn't he throw a hissy fit when Dortmund wouldn't sell him to Barca?

If we get him I hope it is a loan with an option to buy, not obligation.
Feels like a Woodward signing more than a Solskjaer signing tbh

There’s no way in a hundred years that it would be an obligation to buy. If it is I will eat an edible hat. Maybe a hat shaped cake, but I won’t enjoy it.

It should be a good deal for him.

€18m for Smalling (and Dalot on loan)

I mean every player we have at United is only here because we pay them a ton of money.

That narrative was just mostly just spin. If it wasn't for covid Pogba wouldn't be here and he scored tonight.
Dybala would have been here but he didn't want to be and we didn't sign him.

This year we have an advantage. EFL window (16 oct ) closes after international one (5 oct). So if Roma do not pay what we re demanding by the end if the int window, we still have time to sell him in england. Andi m sure there will be clubs willing to fork out 20m euros for Smalling.

WOW, talk about not being able to see the wood for the trees

It would never even happen in normal times but in today's climate if an EFL clubs pays €20m for Smalling I will stand on top of Old Trafford singing Glory Glory Man United wearing nothing but a United branded facemask and a United branded Christmas bauble hanging from the fella downstairs.

Really don’t fancy getting Dembele on loan. He reminds me of an 18 year old Ronaldo. While that might sound like a weird thing to not want, Ronaldo at that age was incredibly exciting but incredibly frustrating, at the end of his blistering runs there was often a touch too much or a cross to nobody or a weak shot at the keeper.

I had little issue with it back then because he was 18 and one for the future. Dembele is 23 and that future isn’t with us.

I’m still not buying these Dembele rumours.. Absolutely smacks of a Sancho smokescreen tactic
