I wonder why we haven't seen reliable reports from Italy about Luka Jovic...

Wouldn't we be paying a massive fee for a 22 y/o who recently moved for 60m, who wouldn't necessarily be starting ahead of Martial?
If we end up signing Sancho next summer with Dembele on loan this season, that would be very shrewd business. And Duncan Castles first broke this story and was ridiculed for it, as always.
He seems a bit full of himself and allegedly acts up from time to time. €20m would be good business by Bayern especially with a buyback option.

Oh. No reliable link to Italian clubs at all. Don't think they can afford him even on loan without moving somebody. Risky move given he has plenty to prove, and he wouldn't stay there long, given Italian clubs would struggle to purchase him if option being available.
A motivated Jovic can challenge Martial. He's more natural fit for CF where he has all the attribute for the role. Ideally he play ahead and Martial play as SS.

Loan for Jovic makes sense. Nothing to lose really. He’s better than Ighalo if nothing else
We absolutely need a back up to Martial. A loan in the current climate shouldn't demand a large fee.
He'd have to be in the worst form of his life not to start ahead of Martial right now.

I don't believe these links to Jovic, Cavani and Dembele in the slightest. Just agents trying to generate interest in their unhappy clients. If we can't get Sancho then I think Telles will be the final piece of business we do this window.

If he is banging in more goals than Martial, then why would he not start ahead of him? He had a prolific record in Germany, so he does have the ability. Martial needs competition, real quick it seems.

Jovic was good in Germany and then flopped at RM. Taking him on loan would be a good signing (same wages as Pereira).
