That's just a 'cut your nose off, to spite your face' situation. We support Manchester United first and foremost, we buy our season tickets because we love the club, it's history and want to back the players, to be there for the moments of euphoria that happen in the future that we've witnessed in the past.
I can tell you now that people buying season tickets won't matter a jiffy to them, there'll always be someone next in line. The waiting list for season tickets at United when we got ours was 30 years!
Where it'll hit them the most is sponsorships. The Chevrolet deal runs out at the end of the season, if our next best offer is half or less than half of what the Chevrolet deal is, that'll make them think as the value of their asset lessens.
As much as it pains me to say, they're here to stay for the foreseeable future. We're currently in a pandemic which will likely see the end to fans in stadiums this season and they've already said they're not listening to those boycotting and having tirades on social media.
