Evra is killing lately
Love it. doubt he would get an ambassadorial role with us (i hope he does) given his frank assessment of the situation and his willingness to call out people who damage our club
Evra is killing lately
I don't believe anyone said he was prime Baresi at any point. But what he is a CB who has the attributes to play in a team that wants to implement high pressure unlike the Elephant we signed for £80m who doesn't suit that style. Is he any good these days? There was a few posters who tried to convince everyone he was prime Baresi at one point.
https://www.spotrac.com/epl/manchester-united-fc/payroll/50k or 60k I believe.
I think the problem with our bozos who are running the club is that they care too much about their social image and what people think.Bloody hell, they only want €20M, just pay up and get on with the winger deal.
I'd be very surprised if you sold him, I thought he was actually one of your better performers against Palace, though that's not setting the bar too high! Seriously he's a very useful utility player to have in the squad. I'd take him at Brighton in a second.
The amount of time he got at the tail end of last season and starting the 1st of this suggests he might be in your 1st 14-15!Pretty much anyone outside the first 14/15 I'd expect to listen to offers for, especially as we're struggling to get rid of the actual complete deadwood.
Translation:
How much do you think other teams pay their back up goalkeeper? Bet it is nowhere near that. That much for someone who rarely plays. How much do you want to pay him then?

He's a potential bargain but unfortunately we don't look to do similar deals. We should have been all over that with an option to buy or obligation.

The relative strength of sides in the prem has improved so much though. Pick the starting 11s for most clubs and it's not that straightforward to say guys like those 4 would start for any of them. Then you have to figure in the wages these guys are on and compare them to other players those same clubs could bring in on half the wage or less.
We've lost to pretty much every club in this league over the last few years, most of them multiple times and that is with our first team. To suggest our deadwood would improve several of them is a bit much.

Yup, but Spurs have been particularly hit during this pandemic. That's in relation to the Covid-19 absence of fans - and associated loss of income - from match-days. It's a loss that all clubs face and which all clubs will have to absorb/cover one way or another.
Not surprised by this, I bet we are trying to add unreasonable add-ons to make up for the price they want.
I think 20m is what we want to pay, but there were a fair few reports earlier that seemed to suggest Porto actually want 30-40m.
He's in the last year of his contract, so that would be way too much.

I am expecting some serious United tweets today, think we will finally see some movement
I'm surprised you haven't found a way to blame it on Romano.
No, he really is back.Isn’t that a fake account
Pretty sure that it's over for this window. We don't have money available and haven't made any sales to help us out.
You mean like Kevin de Bruyne?

We're skint. Can we get any business done swiftly?? Or does everything we do have to be a long and protracted saga
