If we get Sorloth, Solskjær is done.

If he starts his norwegian adventure like he did with Cardiff, he will fail. There are currently one, maybe two Norwegians that are good enough. Sørloth isnt one of them.

I really hope this isnt true. A good season in Turkey doesnt prove anything in the premier league. He failed hard for Palace.

Benteke would have the same stats in Turkey as Sørloth.

I don't believe the links at all. I think it's obvious he's going to Spurs.

Another player for them to 'beat' us to.

Spurs' links to Wolfsburg's Wout Weghorst are weak at this time. Wolfsburg's DoF denied all of the speculation from De Telegraaf.

EDIT: Corrected Tweet

He will only be signed for extra body to replace Ighalo to be fair.

Sassuolo have received a significant offer for centre back Marlon from Fulham.

Translation:

I don't see how Burnley would be able to sign Dale Stephens. Graham Potter still plays him in midfield quite often, and with Aaron Mooy gone, Stephens would get used even more.

I love the differences between La Liga clubs and Premier League clubs dealing with domestic transfers.

2nd place: We need to sell our aging striker who still got 21 goals last season!
3rd place: Can we have him?
2nd place: Sure you can! We‘ll even pay his last year for you so you dont have to pay shit!

Meanwhile in hypothetical Premier League scenario

Can we have him?
£80m please... and we’re not going to give you him anyway

Birmingham City make a surprisingly big signing: Mikel San Jose from Athletic Bilbao.

Deulofeu looks like a replacement for Callejon at Napoli, whilst Kiko Femenia is getting linked to some decent La Liga clubs.

Dzeko was Juve's #1 option, but once the Milik transfer hit some hurdles, Juve moved to sign Morata instead.

I wonder if Morata really wants to move to Juventus. There were some murmurs from the media some days back that Atletico de Madrid were forcing him out. Regardless, at least he's moving to a club that he's played for before.

I think it is the only club where he can be mentally at peace (this is his main flaw), in his first stint he really liked to be there and his wife is Italian.

Seeing what the top European sides are doing this window shows how strongly teams are being affected by Covid, and at the same time shows how big a chance this was to try and bridge the gap to those teams. Barca, Juve, Atletico all making sideways/short term transfers.

You'd have sympathy with the club but didn't they preach about how we were in a position to benefit from the downturn?

United should have signed this guy. He would have been affordable, quality addition upfront who could give genuine competition to both Martial and Rashford for their positions.

If he is slotted up top, Martial and Rashford would have to compete with each other for Left Forward position.

The arrogance of Woodward to still be chasing after Sancho at this stage. He will never fecking learn, and it's obvious that we don't have any alternatives lined up because we were so sure that we'd get him.

Honestly think Sarr is the best alternative out there realistically available, cannot see either Coman/Dembele being allowed to leave Bayern & Barca respectively and do like Traore but again no way do Wolves lose both him & Jota in the same window either.

Remember when Southampton refused to sell us bale and Levy refused to do business with us at all after Berbatov.

Traore is not a good option against low block teams (basically all teams which we play against nowadays). He needs space - in a way similar to Dan James.
