Morata must be one of the most overrated players in the world. He is like 10+ goal scorer and still plays in big club after big club.

Yeah, lets sell the only winger we have in our squad. Good idea..

Oh damn youre right how on earth are we going to make up for all his amazing contributions? Well be screwed without him I mean he hasnt scored or assist in 10 months in the league and had one goal in march in Europa league. Really big shoes to fill there.

He's deadwood, should sell as soon as we can otherwise he'll just become another Jones, Rojo, Lingard who'll rotten in the reserves.

Being norwegian i’d be very sceptical of him. Though i’d be sceptical of any norwegian signing except Haaland and maybe Ødegaard.
Also, if i were him i’d definately go to Leipzig to aim for a starting spot, rather than being Kane/Martial backup at Spurs/United...

For me now Telles & Traore should be our signings.

Shaw and AWB are good defensive fullbacks. Traore and Telles give attacking width & offer us the ability to play 3-5-2, 4-4-2 Diamond and 4-3-3. With players being interchangeable.

If we can then offload players we should target a CB of course.

I guarantee our name is being used to smoke out Spurs for Sorloth.

Plus how the feck is Sorloth going to expect to play with Son, Bale and Kane playing almost every week? Jose hates striker rotation and likes his favourites for that department.

I think that's the point, if we don't want to pay that for Sancho, we can reinforce multiple positions instead

That’s always going to be the case with an expensive signing to some extent though.

If they have the money and are prepared to spend the money they should get Sancho. No sense in trying to knock off £20m just so they can get Telles as well.

Information:

Atletico will have Thomas for this season. Cholo [Simeone] already knows.

The Torreira option will only be activated if [Hector] Herrera leaves.

Atletico has spoken with Arsenal again. They rule out Thomas's departure, and if Herrera leaves, they will talk about Torreira.

Basically, Atletico expect the buyout clause to be triggered for Partey. They won't negotiate for him regardless of what happens. The Torreira links stem from a potential exit for Hector Herrera.

Buy back clause would be 37m with first refusal. We’d only be paying 12m more for him back if he does well there.

How can pool sell never heard of players for more than they paid for best midfielder in the world, so depressing. While we cant manage to sell established players for more than a couple of months of Ddg's salary.

Sorloth isn't coming here. He's going spurs. He's been linked as the backup to Kane that Jose wants for a while. Which, if it goes through they have now signed three players in key areas. Good job we've got Sancho and Upamencano sown up eh boys. No you're crying, i'm not crying.

If anyone's looking for the source, here it is:

As it is, we've enquired a few agents about potential centre back targets, so we are looking to get new central defenders. Getting them in this summer won't be possible, but we will definitely have more activity on this in future windows.

Starting with the match yesterday, our schedule includes a potential 9 games in 21 days - an average of 1 game every 2.3 days.

Without running them totally into the ground, Son, Bale and Kane could not realistically all play in more than about 60-70% (max) of those, even setting aside injuries.

Liverpool were getting linked with Ozan Kabak recently, but they do not plan to get in any more players this transfer window.

Ozan Kabak, makes too much sense for us. so we wont. we were linked with him heavily before he went stuttgart too.

Another tweet said that since they're using Spain's government plan to help against Covid difficulties, they can only spend 25% of the money they earn. That's why they don't want to entertain the idea of Toreira +25M for Partey because they don't consider him his replacement and would then only have ~8M to spend.
But then unless they manage to sell Herrera for 80M they are in the same situation. If the release clause is triggered they'd have 12/13M and that does not get you Torreira either.

I wish we'd just sell him to an italian club for 20M, trigger the clause and wish them good luck. :o

Whilst Vidal to Inter's getting all of the attention, Godin is also nearing his Inter exit.

If we get Sorloth, Solskjær is done.

If he starts his norwegian adventure like he did with Cardiff, he will fail. There are currently one, maybe two Norwegians that are good enough. Sørloth isnt one of them.

I really hope this isnt true. A good season in Turkey doesnt prove anything in the premier league. He failed hard for Palace.

Benteke would have the same stats in Turkey as Sørloth.
