West Ham haven't given up on Tarkowski.

EDIT: article

Apparently, Tarkowski wants to leave Burnley, which is why West Ham are going in for him. Leicester are also apparently interested in him.

Atletico Madrid don't want any club to be able to buy their promising young defender Nehuen Perez.

Translation:
Atletico Madrid will not take any false step with Nehuen Perez. Any team looking for a loan with a purchase option will get a NO.

Parma was close, but they wanted that option, and that broke the agreement. Nehuen could stay if there is no simple transfer.

By the way, out of the 40 million Euros paid to Porto by Wolves for Fabio Silva, 10 million of it went to the agents (7 million to Gestifute, Jorge Mendes' agency).

For those wondering if RB Salzburg's Dominik Szoboszlai has ever changed his mind recently about staying at Salzburg, he hasn't, says his agent.

Quotes:
We made the decision to continue our path in Austria, Dominik wants to play again in the Champions League group stage with Salzburg. His decision is final and it will not change during this transfer window. He is happy and wants to focus on the upcoming games in the league and in Europe. We made an official statement before the international break to say that Dominik will stay at Salzburg. That decision has not changed.

PSG also tried the same loan scheme with Bellerin, but it didn't work. They also inquired Norwich about Max Aarons but couldn't offer the 20 million Euros that was requested.

Translation:
So PSG can't spend after signing Icardi? A bit crazy, to be honest.

From Arsenal, to Sunderland, to Reading (Minnesota and Esbjerg in between), and now to a CL club in AS Monaco...what an upgrade this is for Mannone.

If the Norwegian geezer is on it, I believe it. He's definitely the mouthiest mouthpiece we have in this current team.

Promising young Liverpool player Ben Woodburn will be heading out on loan again.

Promising Bayern Munich player Oliver Batista Meier has joined Heerenveen on loan.

Schalke want Everton's Jonjoe Kenny on loan again, but Everton will only consider selling him this summer.

Source: Sport 1

Quote from Schalke chief Jochen Schneider:
Everton told us in the talks that they are only selling the player. We can’t do that. That is the deal.

Liverpool were interested in signing Jeremy Doku when he was 15, but Doku himself was never interested in leaving Belgium at that age.

son and father are dicks. Why bother going for the tour if you have no interest in joining?
Plus I really hate this pubic declaration of confidential dealings. Not a good look, esp from these no mark youth players,

By the way, out of the 40 million Euros paid to Porto by Wolves for Fabio Silva, 10 million of it went to the agents (7 million to Gestifute, Jorge Mendes' agency).

That's a quarter of all the money paid or... Even worse. If 30m is the asking price 33% on top of that in agent fees.
Now imagine we're ready to splash 120m just for the transfer fee and another 33% (40m) in agent fees. That's ridiculous.

Fiorentina sporting director Daniele Prade spoke about Fiorentina's transfer activity and potential further player movements (including both Chiesa and Milenkovic).

Translated quotes:
On Torreira + additional depth:
"I can say that he is a very strong player, an excellent play. But with those we have I feel very covered in that position. If this is the team, I'll stay like this. We are complete in the departments, in the middle we are really strong. With our module we need two strikers and we have five. Maybe we need an alternative to Biraghi for the left wing and we are probably missing a sixth defender."

On links to players like Thiago Silva and others:
"Thiago Silva? I've never heard the agent or PSG. Same thing for Mandzukic. I know De Paul and he's strong, but now he doesn't fit into Fiorentina's tactical schemes. Milik and Piatek are two very strong players. But one is in Naples and one in Berlin, and we have never talked to either of them."

On contract renewals (starting with Chiesa):
"[Chiesa] The president was clear. In case of fair offers, we would have let him go. But to date they never arrived. And Federico is doing very well. So go on like this, we'll see at October 5th if things have changed or not. For Milenkovic, however, the situation is not easy, but he has another two years of contract and we are calm. Pezzella is our captain, while Biraghi has strongly turned him[self] back [to the club]. It is a request from the coach."

TL;DR:
  • Torreira's good, but Fiorentina won't necessarily chase him.
  • Fiorentina never talked to PSG or Thiago Silva's agents about bringing him in (contrary to other reports).
  • Chiesa
    • If a fair offer came in, they'd let him go (but one never did).
    • Federico is happy to continue with the club.
  • Milenkovic
    • May not want to continue with Fiorentina
    • 2 years left in the contract

Like father like son, basically

So if you think he lied then why all the fuss at me before then? I said we didn't make that bid when Romano said we did. You immediately attacked that opinion. Now you're saying he might have lied.

I give up.

You said Romano lied. Yes you should give up. This is too complicated for you.

I think it's a wasted effort with him - if you look at the Sancho thread he's been quoted with multiple posts about disliking Romano for some odd reason. His mind will never change.

Yeah, it's weird too.

This is interesting. 21-year-old Reading player Jordan Holsgrove will be joining La Liga side Celta Vigo. Was he really that good?

Talented 17-year-old Sporting CP player Joelson Fernandes renews his contract with his current club.

Ooh, now this is interesting. Looks like Atalanta are looking at Schalke's Amine Harit. Could he be Papu Gomez's successor?

So Inter really were going after Kante.

  • Chelsea rejected Brozovic + cash for Kante
    • Not interested in any deal involving Eriksen either
  • Chelsea close to signing Edouard Mendy from Rennes
  • Chelsea will target Declan Rice afterwards
  • Chelsea would rather sell Jorginho than Kante
  • Lampard played down suggestions that Tomori would leave on loan
    • Tomori in contention to play against Brighton
EDIT: Looks like a Chelsea briefing

Stephan el-Shaarawy might return to Europe from China in a short loan spell until January.

Summary:
  • El-Shaarawy wants a short European spell in order to be available for Italy after responding to Mancini's calls for him.
    • A total of 6 weeks of quarantine will need to be observed in 3 different spells when he returns to China.
    • Agreement between Stephan, his brother & agent Manuel, and Shanghai Shenhua
    • Allows Stephan to remain fit and play football regularly
  • Stephan prefers Roma, but other clubs have already enquired about him.
    • Other clubs: Arsenal, Atletico Madrid, PSG

You said Romano lied. Yes you should give up. This is too complicated for you.

He did. We didn't bid for him the day before he joined Milan. The club have denied it now anyway and the Brescia CEO said it was over a week before.

You just don't want to believe what I have been saying about your boy Romano. He's full of shit.

25% of the transfer fee! Agents are scumbags. They make Wall Street bankers look modest
