Everton are looking quite formidable on paper heading into this season with an experienced and winning manager...

He is talking about Juve.

Nah, he was speaking as the president of ECA (an informal association among the biggest 13 clubs in the continent) and presented the 2020-21 financial trends for the entire football system, which hint at a whopping €4bn loss in revenues because of Covid.

Quite frustrating and also envious that Chelsea seem to be able to loan there players to teams in the top tier be it in england or abroad while we end up sending players to the championship or league 1 in some cases, Chong luckily secured a decent loan abroad but hearing Garner and Levitt could be heading to league 1 or championship clubs.

The only thing to take from this is that Angelino is close to rejoining RB Leipzig on a potentially permanent deal.

This will be Tomori's 4th loan spell, potentially, and he's further ahead in his career than both Garner and Levitt, who've yet to even be loaned out.

Zanetti on Lautaro:
Lautaro knows that he's with a great club and is growing here thanks to the hard work of our manager. Is there a possibility that he leaves Inter? In this moment, there have not been any discussions.

Kia Joorabchian confirms that his client, Coutinho, will continue on at Barcelona.

Quotes:
Koeman called him right after the Champions League victory with Bayern, the following day, and told him he’s very much in his plans and would like him to return.

He was due to return on September 7 but actually he returned at the beginning of September because he didn’t want to lose his momentum and fitness, and he’s been training with Barcelona.

All signs point to the fact Barcelona have changed quite dramatically, the way their philosophy of how they wanted to move forward from last year and the players they’ve brought in, like Coutinho, Dembele and Griezmann they’re all going to be part of the squad this year.

Morata might not be for sale, which could make it tougher for Juve to get him.

Translation:
Alvaro Morata is not for sale. Atletico Madrid will demand the full 180 million Euros of his release clause.

We can confirm the departure of @ORafa2 , at his request, to Istanbul Basaksehir on a free transfer.

Yannick Ferreira Carrasco returns to Atletico permanently for a 2nd spell with the club. He will be under a 4-year contract.

I don't really understand these obligations to purchase agreements. Is it actually a 12 months trial with an opportunity to purchase at a previously agreed price? You can't oblige someone to purchase a player, what happens if he has a serious or life changing injury (hopefully not) or more likely, turns out to be shite?

"You have to buy him now for £20M"
"But he's shite", "He hates it here and doesn't want to stay" etc
"Ha ha, we knew that would happen, now gives us the bleedin' money!"

Arsenal really want to include Guendouzi in any deal for a new midfielder. I wonder how Guendouzi will react if he does stay with Arsenal for next season.

My guess is that it's just for accounting purposes. A deal like this would mean that the transfer fee would be booked into the buying club a year down the line, which will make the financial statements look good this year.

I can see why him not being for sale would make it tougher for a club to buy him
It sounds obvious, but what it basically means is that Atletico will only sell him if Juve pay his release clause. Nothing else will convince them to sell him.

Pretty mental how the likes of Villa, Leeds, and Wolves are out here buying players for £30m or more whilst big clubs like Arsenal and Spurs are seemingly very reluctant to go above £20m for any of their targets. Spurs have basically shopped in the bargain bin!

Dark horses for sure this season. Fans should be happy at what is going on in ToffeeLand.
