To be fair, Darmian contributed more than Sanchez ever had. I remember he had a good game in the Europa Cup final.

Like Di Maria and Schweinsteiger, Darmian actually had a very good first month for us. Would be delighted to see the back of him now though - hopefully a youth player can take his back up role.

Not really. I thought he was pretty solid - he was playing as a LB/LCB I think? We played a 352 formation I think, though on paper it was a 4231, but Valencia bombed forward a lot so I remember Darmian covering at LCB quite often.

Still didn’t contribute more than Alexis did at the Etihad...

Inter is pushing Alexis Sanchez towards the final agreement (on the engagement) with Manchester United, new meeting underway with the agent. Tuesday the Chilean could be in Italy for visits and then signing.

There's no way we'll sell, whichever side of the overall Pogba debate you are on anyone with a brain knows our season is over if we let him go now. Next summer he'll go if Real win the league or CL this season, if they fail in both and finish 3rd again Zidane will get the boot and I think Pogba will remain here on a new deal as Perez doesn't seem eager to bring him to Madrid, it's all Zidane.

Beggars can't be choosers cause nobody will take him on an immediate permanent deal at this point. Let's hope he'll form a good partnership with Lukaku to deceive Inter into buying him permanently

We're not beggars either. We can actually use Alexis this year in certain situations, which would make more economic and tactical sense in terms of having a deeper bench as the season wears on.

This, we can use him in the Europa too. I really don't see a point of selling him, not with Lukaku gone and no one coming in. It's going to be a long season and we will need bodies.

Sanchez deal is awful. We basically pay 75% of his wages for him to potentially contribute to Inter having success and they can still say 'nah' next summer when it comes to buying him. But, that's the situation we find ourselves in - he's that bad that nobody will take a gamble on him without a trial period and even then, won't be able to afford his wages.

I’m guessing he causing unrest in the camp and we just want to launch him come what may.

If that is the deal on offer with Inter I’d say no to be honest. As mentioned we’ll be paying a large portion of his wages anyway and they can just send him back at the end of the year. I’d rather we play him up front or wide in the Europa League and League Cup games to give Martial and Rashford a rest.

To me if we are doing this deal it's because Ole feels he's a negative influence to have around this young squad.

Interesting ..

As an aside he was good against Chelsea today.

Why does the Fenerbahce sporting director's name sound familiar? If we are loaning him to them I wonder why we didn't just do the loan deal with Everton.

I know we're generally biased against him and sick of the sight of him lining out for us on here but Rojo is not actually that bad of a player. Horrible fullback but I'd generally class him as a top half Premier League centreback, far far away from being perfect, bit of a lunatic and has a brainfart in him but still too good for the Turkish league.

Despite his ability, Rojo doesn't have the discipline for a top league. It's his downfall as a player.

Ajax and Nice have a verbal agreement over the sale of Kasper Dolberg for €20m. Dolberg had the chance to go on loan to Hoffenheim in Germany but wants to leave on a permanent deal.

Hopefully he can find his feet again. A season or two ago he was looking like he would definitely be too good for the likes of Nice and Hoffenheim.
