The past couple of days have been very quiet in Leagues 1 and 2. Not much to report in terms of transfers (other than Tanner moving to Morecambe which was reported by another user).
Who are their CBs VVD Gomes and Matip? Seems riskly selling Lovren unless they have someone else to cover
I think Fabinho can play there too. There's also Hoever and van den Berg (who they signed this summer) but both are 17 so it'd be a huge risk to rely on those.

In the eyes of Woodward, that will mean Matic is, if not a key player, a player with value that other teams might want and I reckon Nemanja signs an extension around January. Which would be stinking but also in keeping with how Woodward operates.

New contracts for all of Jones, Rojo, Smalling, Young, Shaw, Mata, Pereira in the last 18 months - I am sure Matic will be signed up to a new deal in the next few weeks.

Isn't there an extention option in Matic contract? So, they don't need to give him a new contract if they want him to stay.
