Fixed that for you.
A joke isn't worth getting upset about then, is it?

This is football. Jokes about United's failures are standard stuff. On the flip side, I want to be able to take the piss out of Liverpool and City when I get the chance.

And from Stone's POV, it's only a tweet. If the guy wants to stick the boot in, take it with good grace. Or else it'll be hypocritical when we want to give it back.

You don't throw shit at monkeys without expecting some shit to be thrown back at you.

Upamecano looks class. Hopefully, Arsenal won't get him

Agree, wanted us to sign him for a year or two now. Obviously not happening, but would still love us to sign him and clear our most of our other centre backs, keep Tuanzabe and one other. ALways thougth we needed two centre backs signed and still do....but not realisti , especially at this point of the window

Ruthless and efficient? Them signing Cancelo seems to have dragged on for months?

Genuinely, if we were signing a player this late in the window our fans would be giving the board pelters. Why is this ruthless and efficient while the Dybala scenario was seen as a slow and cumbersome?

Don't let the facts get in the way. I dread to think of the reaction on here if we had taken until the final week to get him.

They are ruthless because Danilo wasn't good enough for their standards so they got rid of him. Efficient as in, deal is wrapped up in space of 4 days since the proposed swap came to the fore.

They are strengthening the squad with Cancelo, it provides them with more depth. Its ludicrous to compare their situation with ours which is in need of reinforcement in several positions in our first team. Plus, we are still paying Darmian wages even though he's been surplus for 3 years now. So yes, we are not ruthless and efficient in the market.

People wanted Fabinho more over him if i recall correctly.

Yes I think the general concensus would either would be fantastic, but preferred Fabinho, partly as he could play right back. He is doing ok at Liverpool now but think he was over rated too, jsut not to the silly degree of Bakayoko as Fabinho is a decent player doing a decent job, dont think he is anything special though

Bob Holding is the same level as Lindelof?

That is laughable if that's what you're suggesting.
Solid/serviceable defenders who have a mistake in them a little too frequently. Guess I’m struggling to see Lindelof as some highly rated CB now, but I don’t wear the goggles.

Yes, no fan of Guardiola and didnt want him as our manager, but one thing he does do very well is replace players he doesnt fancy or think are good enough

You certainly should be wearing glasses I know that much.

Seems to have all gone quiet since the Dybala-Lukaku swap deal fell through yesterday.

God knows if we are going to bring in anyone before Thursday’s deadline.

Badly need to improve the midfield.

That Forrest fan pretending to be a United is easily the worst poster on these boards.

Luckily there's an ignore option so you don't have to read his bollocks.

When is it acceptable to start panicking? We are not getting anyone else are we.
United supporters are a greedy bunch at times. We've sorted two of our largest voids in the starting lineup this window and look to be keeping a very important player, make that two players if you want to count DDG.
There is still time to bring in a MF but if we have to start the season with what we got, so be it.

Put Bernadeschi and Bentancur on the table along with £20M and we'll call it a deal, then by the power of magic grab Eriksen and this will have been a solid transfer window.

Forget the 20m, those two straight swap would be a fantastic deal. Of course it'd never happen but if it did, best transfer window in recent history by a mile.

We were literally moving Lukaku on because he wasn’t good enough. It’s an incredibly similar situation only we would have completed it sooner (if Dybala didn’t have insane wage demands).

Yep.

A lot of easily triggered people in here. I can't see what he's said that's offensive.

He just made a callback joke. The fact that Maguire and Moyes are so different is a part of the absurdity of the premise.

Firstly it’s a terrible joke & secondly why even bring it up? Do other clubs get mocked for the failures when a big money signing signs? They wouldn’t bring up Stuart Pearce if City make a signing

With Upamecano, Tierney + Bellerin and Holding back to go with what is arguably the best attack in the league, yes they’d be in a better position than us and Chelsea quite easily. And maybe on par w Spurs and Tottenham and Poch’s boys

Arsenal, best attack in the league?

Go have a nap.

Interesting claims, I would have thought this would have been Everton before they signed the new lad.

SSN just said United are unlikely to make further signings.

This is the weakest CM in some time

So we are potentially going into the next season with a weaker midfield and, if we sell Lukaku, less attacking options than the previous year, in which we finished 6th?

this club

We have more attacking options than last year. Weaker midfield. And much better defence.

So we aren't signing Dybala OR Bruno, eh? I thought if Di Marzio says it's done, it's done?

What is this even supposed to mean?
So we gave a guy a six year contract and it backfired, so we shouldn't give six year contracts to anyone ever again?
Instead of giving your shite opinions, why don't you do some proper reporting Stone. All the other mouthpiece reporters kiss their respective club's behind but every single reporter who covers us is looking for an opportunity to throw shite at us, it's plain ridiculous if you ask me. The club should just stop using him as a mouthpiece. Without the club backing, he has nothing. He has zero sources and most of his 'reporting' occurs five minutes before the club confirms the news.

Yup, that really grind my gears. I’m not interested in some journo’s opinion - I want the facts!
