Mercifully, no idiotically stupid video.

Perhaps that's why Simon idk reddit guy couldn't get this one right, because their was no marketing department stupid video being made 6 weeks in advance.
Or because he knows feck all

This gives the player an excuse to strike, if indeed that's what he wants to do. I'm not saying he does, but Pogba would now officially have a cause to fight for.

That may be Real's logic. They're putting the ball in Pogba and Raiola's court. It's the only way a bid as low as this makes sense.

Much prefer these style of announcements. Nice little graphic and that’s that. The way Arsenal delayed the Pepe announcement while they parade him in front of a green screen in full kit was ridiculous.

Pointless doing more if everyone already knows about the transfer

Strike all they want, that offer from Real is basically valuing James Rodriguez at £150m from our perspective.

They also wanted €42m for him earlier this summer, so they value Rodriguez more than Pogba themselves, we simply have to point this out to Pogba and the fatty.

Pay up or feck off would be my stance.

You think Marcus Rashford and Do Maria have the same trail of thought when it comes to playing for Manchester United? You think any of those players have that she trail or thought?

Get the feck over it, he did not want to play here at all in the slightest despite even the money. Down right bizarre you're trying defend someone who didn't give a flying feck about the club.

Same Rashford who was linked away with a move until we put him on ridiculous wages for a 21 year old yet to break 15 goals in a single season? Obviously not that similar but money plays a huge part.

Tweet from Simon Stone:

Six-year contract, plus a year for Maguire. Hope for Man Utd sake it goes better than the bloke they gave a six-year contract to in 2013.

:D

Where are the news about other players? DM, CM?

Where are the news about player sales?

Would be hoping that we'd be in for a midfielder as well at least but I can't help but feel like this will be our last bit of business this week...

Hope I'm wrong because we still haven't strengthened enough for a serious top 4 push,Fellaini and Herrera have yet to be replace

I reckon that’s it for us

Lukaku to be sold and that’s probably our business done. Really hope I’m wrong.

Ed Woodward to come out with the following - “We wanted to get a couple of more deals done but unfortunately we just ran out of time. We are satisfied with the window we have had which gives us great optimism for the season ahead”

He cannot use it as an excuse. Hazard in the last year of his contract went for 90 million. Pogba is easily worth 125. Unless Pogba believes James is worth 95 million, he will know it was a ridiculous offer. The only time he can even consider going on strike is if United had received a bid in the 100 million range. This is more a 70 million bid.
Also, Raiola fleeced us quite a bit when we signed Pogba so I don't think we will give into his demands easily

I'm struggling a bit to figure out why people are so panicked by the lack of midfield signings this summer. McTominay has been superb in pre-season and looks to be on the verge of stepping up to the first team this season. Pereira and Fred need to be given a season to prove themselves. They are not lost causes yet and where would a new midfield signing leave them in terms of getting minutes this season? Pogba can be a world class player if deployed and motivated correctly and if anyone can do this Ole can. Then there's Gomes who looks a star in the making who may well make a case for himself for first team inclusion this season. Matic may be past his best but can still do a job against lesser teams. It's not all doom and gloom.

I used to think optimistically like this, but I just can't any more. I think our midfield will be a huge problem this year, too much hope not enough quality.

can’t quote embedded content, Pep’s answer on Maguire to United.

Obviously what he meant was that City do not view Maguire as an £80-90 mill defender. I don’t think anyone in their right mind would. Insane market.

But it’s a bit rich coming from a club that is stocked with £50m defenders who are worse than Maguire.

Also, would we ever know why the feck this signing took so long? We ended up paying what they wanted, or pretty damn close to it. It doesn’t seem like any other club besides City were interested in him either. He wanted the move as well. It is as straightforward a transfer as will ever be.

If we sell Lukaku and not sign a replacement, it’s a huge mistake. I’m all for playing the kids. But that means we are pinning our hopes on Greenwood and although I think he will be twice the player Rashford is. I’m not sure he’s fully ready this year.

It's not straightforward if we didn't want to pay £80 million for him.
