I'd take Matuidi.
Id take Matuidi plus 70m. A player with 0 value in a year or two isn’t worth more than 10-20m even in today’s market.
I'd take Matuidi.
I'd take Matuidi.
I'd take Matuidi.
I'd take Matuidi.
Are they a football club or the mafia
Absolute straw man argument
Are agent fees literally just a 'now give us some money too or else we won't sell him to you' kind of thing?FIFA really need to bring something in to get on top of agents getting huge money from transfers. 10% of transfer fee max, and even then what exactly have they done to earn it? Few phone calls, shit stirring in the media, playing clubs against each other. Agents are a joke.
That's exactly what I think they are. Sure they maybe do some work for a cut, but 10s of millions worth of work? It's outrageous. Even Neymars family being given money by Barca, what the fecks that about? Are agent fees literally just a 'now give us some money too or else we won't sell him to you' kind of thing?
United have done nothing wrong here. To be fair, Juventus haven't either. Juve have a player they don't want and wanted to use him to get a player they did. United have a player they don't want and were interested in the deal offered by Juve.
Pretty hard saying Juve have done nothing wrong if they've told a player his brain will be all over the contract if he doesn't sign it to be honest.
That tweet is satire, I've no idea why mods haven't removed it yet.

I suppose they (wrongly) think people on here have the intelligence to work it out for themselves, but clearly not. It’s quite obviously a piss take.
Quite safe to say that would've been way over the top, but I do believe Juve has told Dybala in quite strong terms he should be moving on, obviously not telling him they would blow his brains out.
Even if the exact wording of blowing his brains out are a piss take, do you not think Juve have been pretty straightforward in their treatment of Dybala?
To me it speaks volumes what Dybala thinks of United as of now, that he'd rather stay at a club which is desperate to move him on than take a step down with us. We loved to harp about how we can attract the very best even if we are not competitive, guess now that illusion has disappeared.
What Juve want doesn't matter at all if the player is hell bent on staying put. The contracts are iron-clad, just see the example with Bale.

I don't think he necessarily sees it as a step down, it's very hard for a South American kid who grew up playing in Italy to make such a huge lifestyle change and move to England. There's the odd one like Aguero but most aren't brave enough to go through with it.
Busy day, full of backstage. A premise: Juventus has decided to sell both Paulo Dybala and Mario Mandzukic for a matter of capital gains and technical-tactical choices, there is no rain on this. Paulo is expected in the next few hours for medical examinations and for the first training under Sarri's orders . Sarri himself has not yet spoken to Dybala and is waiting for communications from the company. Mandzukic has a total agreement with Manchester United and it is not said that it does not also apply in case of shipwreck of the Lukaku-Dybala exchange between Juve and the Red Devils. United likes Matuidi, but for the moment there were no lunges. Within continuous evolutions anything can still happen, but the fundamental basis is that Juve does not count on Dybala and Mandzukic for the season that will officially start soon. Dybala continued to take time, rejecting the proposals and not accepting them completely. Despite a base of 11 million more bonuses per season and despite the intense encounters between his agent and United. From England they claim that Manchester has finally given up its hold on Paulo: they may be right, but we would wait. The Inter in all this is ready to get back in the game for Lukaku, we have always said that the Nerazzurri hope would have been linked to Dybala's no. And hope is nourished if the Argentine continues to stand sideways, elementary. The Nerazzurri valid offer is that of several weeks ago, close to 70 million plus any bonuses, we will see if Inter will raise again up to 75 million more bonuses, having long since found the agreement with the Belgian. We will see above all if Juve will resign, there is Mandzukic at stake and after a long chase in Lukaku the risk of Inter's controsorpasso would be a lethal blow. That's why we would still wait. Also taking into account the very cold reports that would further condition - at least on paper, talking about it today - any talk about Icardi .

The player from Juve couldn't agree. The player from United just wants out. The Juve player is prepared to be treated like shite and used his out to try to obtain a ridiculous deal to leave. His agent exploited the position as well.
The end result is Juve will be left with a player who loves the club but deep down knows he's not wanted and has been treated pretty badly, but ultimately his own greed has left him stranded with little bargaining power.
United are left with a player they will try to sell elsewhere because they know he wants to leave. They have backed away from signing a FIFA superstar and rejected his unreasonable demands and they have appeared to learn from past mistakes.
Just because Ole, or Ed, or the Glazers don't buy who the fans here want, doesn't make it right to declare all out war against them. Claim they are clueless, claim they don't care or claim they are inept
They have signed an exceptionally promising young winger/attacking forward. They have paid a lot of money for an exceptionally promising defender/wing back to replace a player who was never a true fit, and fill a position that has been neglected for years.
The young player is a proper talent and has shown he could be a top world class player In his position after a couple of performances. His potential is exciting.
On top of that a world record fee has been paid for a centre back. A position the fans have been raging about being filled for years now and with a player who could become truly world class. But the fans moan we don't spend enough, then moan we spend too much.
Instead of being happy let's ignore the positives and instead let's moan and attack and disrupt and act like spoiled kids because we didn't sign a FIFA team and because players the Caf liked were ignored, because let's face it, the Caf knows better.
Bollocks. Yes there are negatives but there are so many positives that are being ignored or overlooked.
We have some excellent youth players who can step up, and remember, nobody wins anything with kids!
I just hope that ridiculous statement comes back to haunt this generation as much as it did the last!
I'd take Matuidi.
Aguero, Sanchez, Suarez, Tevez etc are some of the most successful South Americans to ply their trade in PL, all of them were quite recent and successful too.
If you are an attractive proposition and stump enough money, players will follow. If Liverpool and City were interested in Dybala, he wouldn't give two shits about staying put at Juventus.
I'd take Matuidi.
What are we doing! we are such a joke of a club! woodward is a disgrace! linked to this player all summer and are being made a laughing stock!! we are an embarassment ! we need to replace players who have left!! only united could be so incompent!! the sky is falling !!
Oh wait it's a Spurs transfer. Good on them for not being bullied! Levy is a great negotiator! Why arent we ran like spurs ! Spurs are doing so great in the transfer market!
Yep. Even entertaining such idea it's ridiculous. We aren't dumping houseJuventus can keep their trash.
I'd take Matuidi.
Is he a playmaking #8?I'd maybe take Bentacur and Douglas Costa
really impressed with that Bentacur when I've seen him
Douglas costa and 70million, would be OK.
