But it looks like we're pricing Rojo out of a move just as we did with Darmian over the last 2 years by asking for £25m for him.

Sell him for 15m then. He is not needed even for a bench and even if one starter is absent (two with Maguire in).

It's better to give some unknown academy player these 2-3 games Rojo would have actually played this season, should there be a coincidence of injuries and suspensions at the same time

It'll be weird to see him in Spain. He's a proper Italian defender and could've had a career at one of the Italian clubs, not sure why he's been sticking around here. I'm sure a transfer fee of 5 - 10m will get him.

Fee isn't the only problem though, we're paying him £80,000k pw not a lot of teams would be interested in a package like that. 29 years old, injury prone, not that good, £80,000k wages, £15-25m fee, minimum 3 years contract.

Its easy to see why we can't shift these players.

Van Gaal was only at United for 2 years, he left 3 years ago and yet he's still affecting transfer policy. He managed to stock pile some shite that is still hanging around the squad like a bad smell.

Yeah i think United might just be tempted to sell him for that.

You know Chelsea have too many players on their books when half of those sold/linked away you've never actually heard of

If you have not heard of Tomori then you're obviously not at all interested in football outside of the prem or the youth game. He played in 44 (out of 46) of Derby's games last season (winning their player of the season) and also won the Toulon U21 and U20 World Cup with England in the past 2 years.

Happy we didn't sign him, Lingard and Mata are clearly better.
Arsenal came into the summer needing even more reinforcements than United, and above all in defence. Since then, they've lost their best centre half, replaced their best midfielder with a guy who can't get into a Madrid team desperate for midfielders, and now they're blowing their load on a winger who's had one good season in France.

Imagine if roles were reversed here. If United had lost Lindelof and the only players they had signed were Ceballos and Pepe (I'm ignoring the lad they've signed and sent straight back out on loan) , this place would be even more in meltdown than it is currently, and rightly so.

Huge risk on Arsenal's part. If Munich rejected him due to concerns about not having enough time and space to operate in Germany, I'm happy to watch Arsenal blow their entire budget on a player who plays a position that frankly should be way down their list of priorities.

Arsenal go into the season weaker, and even more imbalanced, as things stand.

I don't either. There's nothing to stop Real from buying Pogba after the English window closes.

If we're going to sell pogba at all, which I doubt. We're certainly not going to sell him after our transfer window closes. If he doesn't go before our window closes, he won't go.

I'd like to think United wouldn't sell at any price after our window closes, unless we have a replacement already signed.

That left side screams for a back-up that is good enough to push Alba, yet the chief stooge Bartomeu, along with the other members of the board, are gawking at 30m for Firpo but identified Darmian as a solution. Clueless all around.

From overspending on round pegs in square holes to the absolutely shambolic manner in which the board buys these round pegs, I don't believe there is a big club with worse management. The 2021 elections can't come soon enough.
