Wish it would. Should never be trying to keep a player that doesnt want to be here, especially one where we are talking of a fee over £100m without doubt for a player that hasnt consistently been very good in two full seasons now.
Nobody is bigger than the club and very very few players have even been irreplacable and Pogba most certainly isnt anywhere near that bracket of player.
Though on one hand I think it is good we arent selling players on the cheap like we have done for quite a long time now, we have several positions need strengthening and several players that even selling below the costs mentioned (which majority are not even worth in my opinion) all this dithering willo either leave it too late for us to get replacements (NDOmbele, Barella already gone, not saying would have come, just examples), over paying in last minute desperation for replacements (as we have done in the past, look at Fellaini for example) or just as bad, going into the season with no replacements as we still have these unhappy, over rated, over paid and under performing players.
We have a group of players even selling on the cheap we are talking oround £250m worth of sales and clearing off wages of probably £1.5m+ a week. Some maybe not so easy to shift but several wanted players.
