Actually the owners *do* put their money into the club, in the form of a yearly membership fee. President is elected, don't remember about the board. They are also socios -members/owners - and they work for the club for free(on top of paying their own membership fee). The president also has to act as financial guarantor up to a certain amount for in case the club registers losses, i.e. the president has to cover for those out of his own pocket

I think Barcelona would throw Dembele & Coutinho at a deal to prize Neymar back. The fact is neither of those were close to Neymar's influence at the club.
It might reach a point where if Neymar is so desperate to get out of PSG his only option might be Madrid.
There were rumours PSG was a stepping stone for him to get to Madrid anyway and Madrid have more money ready to go than Barca do (plus Bale possibly)
I wouldn't even rule out the possibility that Neymar and his camp know full well than Barca can't afford him and are playing along so that if and when he goes to Madrid it won't be that he chose to but he was left with no other option.

Imho Neymar should be worthless. He's vastly overrated and a massive cnut that disrespects and upsets his team. If PSG don't sell him this Summer, he should be left to rot in the reserves to teach him some humility. They can afford to do that and it would be amazing to see.

They’ve had literally one left-back for years, Pique is almost finished and no matter who they get at right-back, they don’t seem to be happy with (even though Semedo is more than good enough).
They want to sell Coutinho (after paying €140m for him) and Malcom. So what’s the plan? 4-2-3-1 with Dembele (another €140m player) as the only back-up to 4 attackers? Or is Abel Ruiz going to finally be promoted?
Basically, at Barca everyone’s always for sale unless they’re local Catalan boys or Messi.

Don't forget De Jong, Emerson and Neto at about 100 mill together, I don't how it's possible either or how they can afford it.
I dont think they are breaking any rules they are mega rich and if Neymar comes they'll probably sell one of Dembele or Coutinho.
If Barca get Griezmann, Neymar, De Jong in one window; does it top Ronaldo, Kaka, Benzema. I think it is pretty close. Also note Griezmann was a Sergio Ramos header away from a Ballon D'or while Neymar likely to win it at some point in the future.
Secondly Barca will now have Messi, Suarez, Griezmann, Neymar upfront at the least which is better than anything anyone else has. Just to compare, we have Rashy, Jlingz, Martial FC, and Lukaku.
