I'd hope we'd be all over this but alas we won't :(
Big big risk IMO, talent is there but not the attitude. Not to mention he’ll cost 100 mill Euros plus. Also, we are planning on bringing in Sancho next year anyway

You think Sancho gets to have a say in that.

I learned everything I needed to know about Dembele when Barcelona played against Liverpool and he missed two open goals in a space of two minutes.
I don’t think we should be signing players who are capable of such lows.

Thanks but no thanks.
Didn’t know people judged players on a single game.

Neymar to Barca only a matter of time now. The PSG hit pieces in the media have already started to trickle through.

I cannot confirm or deny.
Mr Simon Stone, I always knew you had an account here. You thought you will just post the same stuff that you write in your 'exclusive' tweets and us muppets won't make the connection?

So somebody at Arsenal actually thought they'd let him go for £10 million less than AWB?

What would that possibly achieve other than pissing off your negotiating partner.

Getting Zaha to turn further against the club when they reject the bid. Arsenal would love it to turn ugly.

I'm actually Tancredi and trying my hardest not to type BOOM! in every post.

Seriously though, I hope we get Sancho, I would like to believe if there is no right forward signing this window then we really do have a good chance of getting him next summer. Just pray we dont feck it up and come 5th or 6th again.

Notice that Sancho's odds to Spurs have come in a bit and Utd drifted tonight, however that probably means very little

They would also be required to pay Manchester United a proportion of any fee, thought to be capped at around £15m, as part of a sell-on clause agreed when Zaha re-signed for the club in January 2015.

Hilarious if Arsenal think Palace would take that big a hit just because Zaha asks to leave.. He has plenty of time left on his contract.. Unless Arsenal can make a sensible bid, there is no way he leaves, no matter how much Zaha wants a move.

Why on earth would it be capped?

@mods, can I opet thread "Should we sign Andy Carroll?"
I see it is very popular to open thread on crap players that we should sign
Like we don't have enough of those.

The feck is the point of having a percentage sell on clause if its capped?

I'm not sure it does matter anyway. Nobody is gonna pay more than 60/65 M£ for Zaha. So 15m£ is the best we could get really.

There's a thread on here asking if you should sign Balotelli...your journey to the Liverpool side is almost complete!

Would be kind of stupid to have a cap on a sell on clause. Surely that's BS.

Anyhow, it's laughable that Arsenal are trying to squeeze Zaha into their tiny tiny cheapskate budget. If you have no money you can't buy nice things.

They'll want more than £60m then.

Is he really that much better than Iwobi? Zaha is the vocal point in a bottom half of the table side, I'm sure Iwobi wouldn't look too bad being treated as the star player in a small pond.

Also out of curiosity how would our 25% sell on clause work if Palace did a swap deal with Arsenal instead?

On that note, I wonder what there is to stop Arsenal from, for example, buying a CPFC youth player for 40m & Zaha 'officially' for 20m?

I mean it seems pretty underhanded and of course everybody would know what was what but, let's be honest, football is pretty sketchy all round these days. I'm guessing no laws would be stepped on?

United should "bid" £60 million for Zaha and have this bid rejected. Win-Win for CPFC because Arsenal would have to bid higher or let it be.

If Arsenal somehow manages to swap 4 players for Zaha, will we receive 1 of those 4 players due to 25% clause?
