If Gareth bale stays at Madrid this summer after being told he isn't wanted... hes basically retiring in the Spanish sun. Shows spain/money means more than football.

Wasted talent however injury prone he is. Needs to take a huge financial drop in wages an play footy like all young boys grow up wanting to do.

Would have him at liverpool if the price was right. Something around a 50million offer and say 150k a week wages depending on games played. Pay as you play contract to get him up and running again.

Hes the exact kind of player United are crying out for.

You really shouldnt try to infer emotion from forum posts. I'm a bit exasperated by how badly the club is doing in controlling its own transfer narrative in such a vital summer, but that doesn't mean I'm not wearing a big shit-eating grin.

The proper emotional meltdown will be in August when I see Lingard, Mata, Jones and Young in the starting eleven.

Mate, Rafael as a RB was put in a position pogba was supposed to be in, and every other player was injured. Ole will not be different. Carrick was a CB for crying out loud. This club will not use the youth like your think. Rashford and lingard were very lucky. It's cute people think he youth will get games often. bailey, rojo, Jones, smalling, new signing. Then youth CB as a last resort. Dont be surprised seeing mata at rb some game.

We didn’t have young defenders on the level of Tuanzebe back when had to play Carrick or Fletcher in CB.
When we did (Brown, Evans, O’Shea) they all got their chance.
