It's amazing how we hijacked Sanchez and Fred from City, 2 players 1 of which was on a clear decline and the other had a huge question mark about him, but the one player we should actually be hijacking from City, we're not in for him…

Give me your mortgage then! we recently bid 3,5k over the asking price on a house that was perfect for us, school and work within 10 minutes etc and was still outbid !

So your first bid was over the asking price? The only reason for that would be you were trying to outbid people who had already bid lower. Nobody puts a bid in over the asking price first. However I'll leave it there as I'll get a ban.

How would you know ? For all we know Rodri is gonna perform similarly to Fred. Fred was as hyped at that time as Rodri is today.

The negativity in this thread is crazy high.

Exactly and here we're the only ones on the Bissaka transfert. it makes sense to try and get him as low as possible.

It's just bad faith from people. Everything to bash the current board with. I think we have enough reason to critisize the board without having to resort to that.

No way are Newcastle spending that kind of money. Mike Ashley would rather throw £30mill at a new Karrimor marketing piece at Sports Direct!

Clueless transfer strategy. Another farce looks n dombele to spurs. And we are just linked with long staff.

Ed Woodward is dumb as it gets.

They do here in Stockholm @Cantona in disguise, like ALL the time. You’d simply never ever ever buy an apartment here by bidding the asking price

Feels like we're one big signing away from the whole summer window kicking off at the moment. Neymar, Pogba, Griezmann whoever it is there will be heavy spending once one of those moves.

I would very much doubt there is anything in this but Goldstein said on the Sports Bar tonight that he heard from a reliable source that Utd are interested in signing Aubameyang. Apparently this same source told him that we were signing a new number 9 a couple of days before the Martial deal broke in the French media

Don't shoot the messenger on this one but just thought it would be worth me sharing it with you

He's just a United fan who has no more of a clue than anybody on this board. He does this every window for a little banter on his show.

Rarely seen a more obviously wrong comment.
He isn't completely wrong, we need to make sure players are in absolutely no doubt that Manchester United is bigger than any of them, that it is a privilege to play for this club. Not grovel to somebody who has disrespected the club. We are losing control and need to get it back and quick.

Sell him of course. He asked to leave and we reward him with a ridiculous contract. Use the money to make the team stronger on more positions. Simple really

The money is stupid I wouldn’t give him that. But I see no problem with giving him a new contract.

Ole will be choosing which players he wants, if they are quality enough is a different matter.

Feels like we are making same very mistakes again. Handing undue advantage to rivals who have better managers than us and don't get their transfers wrong and finish above us.

Not against the players we are linked with in long staff and tilemans but feels like going for cheaper cut price alternatives while being fleeced for other players and leaving the middle soft problem ever since 2013.

You obviously don't live in the part of Manchester I live then, it happens a lot , mainly due to the schools and the links into town

How can we even be considering giving Pogba a raise after last season? It sends the message that Manchester United now accepts mediocrity. Ridiculous and the type of poor decision making that has turned us into a mid-table club. Just tell Pogba he's not being sold this summer and he's expected to perform better next term. If he has a good season, then consider a new contract. Now is not the time with 2 years plus the 1 year option.

Us blowing the chance of being in the CL and a rookie manager isn't helping. The draw of the club is no longer enough. Players want to be on the biggest stage.
