Of course not. We'd have to be insane to reward his performances with 500k.

I’m happy with that.
Feck the performances. After saying he wants a new challenge, if Pogba was to accept 500K a week, then we know he'd be here for the money.
According to Atletico, Griezmann to Barça is a sure thing, and now Neymar to Barça too? Can you imagine Neymar, Messi and Griezmann?
Mounting pressure from who?

The fit is about the hit the shan when the Caf finds out how much Rashford will extort from this!

So he’s not happy playing second fiddle to a lesser player. He’s not one to waste his prime years on the bench earning obscene wages a la Bale so he wants to go where he will play.Because we're paying him shit loads of money.

The club made it known to everyone he was not first choice and then had the balls to say they want 80M for him. He is trying to lower that number so he can get out of a place where he isn’t even wanted.
It's really not that big a deal. Bale is earning 600k a week at Madrid. Then again, I don't have a problem with de Gea's wage demands either.Of course not. We'd have to be insane to reward his performances with 500k.

That or the whole thing is a salary negotiation, like what happened with Ronaldo, Bale, Ramos with Real.Smells like negotiation tactics to try to force Madrid into paying a fair price.
So pogba is using real Madrid to get a better contract? I kinda love that if trueThat or the whole thing is a salary negotiation, like what happened with Ronaldo, Bale, Ramos with Real.
Exactly. Why would it matter if they want to leave? They have contracts. Let them rot in the under 23s or don't play them at all. United hold all the cards.

My only problem with wages has only ever been the awful players, who are not in demand, and still getting paid more than other much better players at smaller clubs. Young is an example of this. Lingard is an example of this. Not in demand, and anyone that would want him wouldn't have them on the wages we gave them. If we feel Henderson can make the step up, I'm all for selling de Gea. That's a big if though and a 1 year transition period is probably the safer bet.
Also, I would like to balance our wage sheet by having more youth players becoming squad players on minimal roles. For example, Darmian's role in the team is very minimal, but is getting paid like that of a regular starter. That's always been my preferred strategy.
Wait, if he can't get out, and they cannot pay, maybe that's all it is?So pogba is using real Madrid to get a better contract? I kinda love that if true
Winston Bogarde rotted for years in the reserves at Chelsea.Don't be ridiculous
That has never, ever, happened in the history of football.
Good grief.
How much is Sanchez currently on?Of course not. We'd have to be insane to reward his performances with 500k.
I am sure we hear many examples like that, it's just that we don't pay attention.Don't be ridiculous

In 16/17 we had Zlatan and Mkhitaryan completed within a week.... when?
Think you mixed up Lukaku and Pogba thereThere's a way to go about doing things. He stinks of disrespect and always has. He can hand in a transfer request formally to the club and go about it in a diligent manner. Leaking his feelings on an Adidas sponsored event whilst on holiday is an ultimate piss take. Don't try and dress him like he's some sort of shackled prisoner that's an ultimate football purist.
In 16/17 we had Zlatan and Mkhitaryan completed within a week.
In 15/16 we had Darmian, Schweinsteiger and Schneiderlin completed within 3 days.
In 14/15 we completed Shaw and Herrera within a couple days. Rojo and Di Maria were done within a week that same summer.
Looking through the history we mainly get signings done in a flurry later June/early July.
I know. I'm simply saying that we're not just working on one deal at a time. Hence us being able to complete a few in quick succession. You have zero clue how longs those deals actually took though. We'd been hearing rumblings about Ibra coming for many many months for example. Herrera was drawn out over a year after we failed to bring him in on the final day!
Aubameyang doesn't make any sense tbh. We need someone that can play with his back to goal IMO.I would very much doubt there is anything in this but Goldstein said on the Sports Bar tonight that he heard from a reliable source that Utd are interested in signing Aubameyang. Apparently this same source told him that we were signing a new number 9 a couple of days before the Martial deal broke in the French media
Don't shoot the messenger on this one but just thought it would be worth me sharing it with you
