"United's stance is that Pogba will stay and play for them next season even if their record £89million signing agitates for a move.
In reality, that stance could change if Pogba demands to go and Madrid table a bid in excess of £150m."

Really wish Flo Pe had appointed Jose instead of Zidane. Was hilarious to see this forum discussing how Zidane would try to go for Eriksen or Salah and weaken our rivals when it was clear as day that Pogba would be his priority.

But 150 million and spending that on 2 midfielders + a RW would be satisfactory I guess.

Man United primed for Real Madrid's dirty tricks to try and unsettle Paul Pogba as club remain firm despite midfielder's desire for a new challenge
Madrid dont need to try hard,to be honest. Think Pogba made up his mind about leaving the moment the final whistle blew at home to Cardiff.

Reg. Cancelo: No doubt he might fit right into a complete project like City and prosper , but there has to be something wrong behind the scenes if Juve are letting him go considering how hyped he is in his position. Are they stocked for RBs ?

You do know that they have to want to come here for that to work? I mean the question was probably asked to him and/or his agent and they just burst out laughing.
Yeah probably. But I wouldn't put it last them not asking at all. Considering ole really wants bissaka

The thing with Madrid is though that whatever they say about not going above a certain price, we know they will. When they want something they usually don't accept 'no' and just pay up. They are like a spoiled kid who is never happy no matter how many toys they have.

They will reach an agreement with us. No way is he staying now after saying what he did. United just playing the game .

Does nobody here have a problem with us spending £40m or more on a right back?

Considering:
- we just bought a right back last year
- we have young prospects coming through
- we have so many areas to fix on a limited budget
- there are cheaper alternatives at right back surely

No.

We've got Ashley Young currently as the nailed on starter.

I'd pay £40m to someone to take Ashley Young away from us so it's a bonus to sign someone else in the process.

Cancelo, Tielemans, Felix. United nowhere near these players and Cancelo and Tielemans are decent prices as well. They would walk into our team without issues

Leicester are going to sign Tielemans, City will sign Cancelo and we'll miss the opportunity for a player exchange with Pog. We'll keep a down-toolsing Pogba next season and miss all the chances to sign a good replacement(s) this window (likes of Maddison, Lo Celso, Fernandes, Ndombele etc etc) and the club will crash out of the top 6 next season as we get overtaken by Wolves and Leicester.

And the sad thing is Woodward, Judge, Ole and Phelan will collectively deserve it. If they all allow this window to pass without at least trying to roll a dice.

Why don't you wait until the window closes before you rant like this? Atm it's pure speculation on your behalf.

Ed Woodward is an embarrassment, I hope another team comes in for bissaka and pay the full 50m to teach the cnut a lesson. Plus I hope Madrid offer 50m for pogba and offer 70m in add ons for a taste of his own medicine

That's a strange attitude to have. I think what he offered is a good deal for the player. He has many faults does Woodward but this is not a stick to beat him with this time.

Say you want a house you think said house is worth 350k would you bid 350k to start or would you be sensible and start at 340k?

I know but it's difficult when we seem to now have an apparently spineless manager to go with the spineless CEO and chief negotiator. Particularly if this "faith in young English talent, like Lingard" tosh is actually attributable to Ole.

At least with LVG and Mourinho you initially got the sense we had a manager who wouldn't be afraid to make grandiose transfer demands. But right from the off Ole is giving more Moyesian vibes when it comes to being toothless in the transfer market.

It seems some people think it's up to our coaching team to buy the players they want, when surely they are little involved except from telling Woodward what kind of targets they want. The responsibility then falls on Woodward to deliver. Always has, always will. And as we seen in the past his ability to get deals done takes quite a while, if they even happen.

He's a peach of a winger but a rubbish defender. Kinda like Marcelo

I'd had a lot more respect for Herrera if he actually moves to Atletico instead of PSG.

That would be one of the worst destinations a creative attack-minded young player could pick.
Disagree,I think Simeone will build the majority of A.Madrid's offensive game around him.

Concerning the choice of club Felix has, reportedly,at his disposal I think A.Madrid is the perfect environment for him.
1.They're a stable club.2.They are competing at the top and 3.Will comfortably give Felix the gametime to continue developing.

Very strange.

It is clear we want Bissaka NOT Cancelo. Cancelo is overrated

Herrera would be absolutely perfect for Atletico and vice-versa. If you're going to lose Rodrigo, then a central midfield of Ander Herrera+Hector Herrera with Koke and Saul will be absolutely awful to play against.

I believe that they are also signing Marcos Llorente from Real (I think he's the direct Rodri replacement).

regarding house prices, I know plenty of people that bid or over the asking price, it happens because they want it

Buy
Neymar (move Martial to CF and Rashford to the RW)
Erickson
Ndombele
Wan Bissaka
(CB)

Tell me it’s not a team that can be built on and can challenge. These players are all available and they are moves that show people were back in business. Now maybe Neymar wouldn’t want to come here cause of our position, but with Hazard just bought don’t see Madrid possible at all and Barcelona seems off the cards.

Could Liverpool make the move for him?

Ndombelel and WB would be excellent but otherwise it'd be buying players who are shopping for elsewhere or who'd be coming here for the pay packet. We've done that before and need to learn from our mistakes.

Neymar coming here would be for one thing and one thing only, and it's got nothing to do with the city, the badge or the history of the club. Theoretically, even with all those signings I think we'd still be a distance from City.

So you hope we sell Pogba under price?
You're strange.
