Clubs like Leicester can afford to set ridiculous price tags on their star players. They're under no pressure to sell this summer.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing, it’s easy to look back and say they overpaid for him. One they had the Newmarket money and everyone knew that. Two Dortmund didn’t want to sell. Also, I would have loved us to sign him, even if the price tag on him was 140 million. He was that good that season.

I would be more inclined to pay the money for Ryan Fraser, who had a really good full PL season with Bournemouth. Is he the quality we are looking for at United though?
Wan Bis is definitely someone we should be going for though, even if it ends up costing us £50M. He played a big part in Palace finishing place in the PL.

You just know that the slogan will be mocked mercilessly when these young players fail. Another fear is that it's just a simple ploy to not spend on the best players.
Considering Ole wanted all of his signings completed by then, 2 would be a significant problem. I'd hope for at least 4 to be completed. With a further 2 superstar signings that take a little longer.

He was decent enough for a No. 2, but he turns 36 in October and made less appearances for us last season than Gazzaniga, who is clearly destined to become the new No. 2. I actually wouldn't be surprised if Gazzaniga takes over from Lloris in a season or two.
Isnt this why you hire scouts? To find players abroad that cost half the price of the UK based players?
