They are different players at different positions. You can buy both and they wouldnt compete against each other. One is a central midfielder and the other is a winger. I dont get the more expensive option bit, an attacker/winger from Fiorentina is naturally more expensive than a midfielder from Cagliari
I think the assumption is that Rabiot was poorly handled at PSG and United thinks they can handle him. Not convinced but hell...You can't have a Manager come out in public saying he wants players with the United 'attitude' then sign a player famous for having a huge attitude problem.
