So if Spurs get this guy how much do they improve, is he the type of player we watch go to another club and then be interested in buying in a few years?

I know that but they seem to value him, if they didnt his release clause wouldn't be as high unless you're telling me every player in spain has a release clause close to 100 mil.

I think its low ball considering he is their best player/his high clause and spurs not increasing their offer shouldn't mean they should be stupid enough to sell him.
You're wrong, just stop.

probably yes. Pochettino obviously knows about his potential. He could become a great player in a few years without a doubt (he already is really good), but he wont be a bargain at the prices quoted. But under Poch, i would bet on him becoming a top player.

Where am i wrong? unless you're telling me the buyer is always right on the price, forget about the sellers valuation.

I can't post my opinion on a forum, just because you/ others disagree with it?

Ok.

Sanchez, van Persie say hi.
I was being facetious. Though now you mention it, Sanchez to you set you back by several years.
Mounier is a Manchester United fan...
Waste of cyber space that tweet, MEN should be banned on here.
That doesn't mean anything. But the real reason we're not in for Meunier is that we've got Bellerin and AMN so well stocked in that area.

Hard to say given he's pretty likely to be the replacement for Eriksen who has been key for them since he joined.

They are quoting Eduardo Inda who is a serial bullshitter

Spanish journalist Eduardo Inda claims the deal is nearly done.
Pogba is practically done,” he said.
“The first to appear will be Hazard and the next will be Pogba. He has agreed to lower his Manchester United salary: from £13m net per year to £10m. Adidas is pressing a lot because he is one of the two franchise players of the brand.”

Not every player but I think you'd find that all release clauses are well above market value, it's only when a player progresses at such a quick rate that their market value aligns with the release figure - hence why they're pretty rarely triggered.

Missed the key part - he is our back up to AWB and we have asked for couple of weeks time to decide. Point being, if its a straight choice between united and arsenal, it will be us. He will join you guys only because we didn't want him.

I don't mind seeing him go, but we better get someone decent from Madrid - not Bale!

Same fella reporting Mbappe to Real Madrid, he is full of shit.

AC Milan announces Gennaro Gattuso will leave his role as the Club's First Team manager by mutual agreement with immediate effect.

Leonardo Nascimento de Araujo (Leonardo) has today informed AC Milan of his decision to resign from his position of the Club's Sporting Director with immediate effect. AC Milan has accepted his resignation.

since when has an elite footballer in his prime ever agreed to reduce his salary?

What % do we think are accurate and actually come off? I'd venture to say less than 0.25% of them or 1/400 rumors turn out true. I'm sure some deals are discussed, probably around 1% of rumors have validity or 1/100. Sound about right?

Press are just as badly clued up on whats going on as the man on the street is.

Not claiming it is true but this part should make the likes of Woodward etc angry and striving to improve.

Imagine your kit manufacturer pushing players towards other clubs because they find them more marketable.

Fecked if we lose Pogba at this stage. People can chat all the shit they want, he is by far our best player. Fact!
Madrid will be looking for a replacement for Ramos, Modric, Benzema and probably need a winger(Hazard) I don't think they'll have the money to buy a Pogba and pay him what he wants.

Buy somebody to replace him and we are fine. It's not even like he's been breath taking anyway is it? We've lost far better players than Pogba and the club hasn't Imploded.

Sell him for £100-120m and buy Fernandes n Tielmanns. 2 players for price of 1.

Wish it was that simple.

You're in Dreamland if you think we'd get them two for anywhere under £120m
Fernandes isn't leaving for any less than £70m, youri will be leaving for a similar price, neither are as good as Pogba.

They should accept a low ball offer for a player they for some reason value rather highly because its a lot of money for them?

Where did you study business?

Hardly a low ball offer though even in this market. Or maybe I just don't rate him THAT highly

Lower the salary? What about the 150m we want up front? The papers adopt the strategy of throwing shite against a wall and whichever sticks is today's story.

See, how can you not love 2019 'caf. We've got a plethora of blokes that can see several years into the future! Mystic megs are ten a penny.

I don't think Tielmanns would command such a high fee. £50-55m tops.

But even if he did we have our own cash too. We don't have to sell to buy.

Tielmanns + Fernandes is better than 1 Pogba..

That's open to debate, but there's not doubting Pogba is class on his day.
The issue with this transfer market is it's a seller's market, they can ask for whatever price they want, and if Pogba is sold, other clubs will know we have cash to spend.

Most likely you don't rate him that highly. Considering we got fred for 50+ (:wenger:) He looks a really good player who has great potential and he's been great for Betis, their best player IMO.

Don't agree that's better but do agree that Tielmanns is a 50m player tops. If we pay anymore, it would completely screw over our transfer policy going forward. Teams would be in their right to say if Tielmanns is worth 70m, then my player is worth X.....
