Pickford isn’t a bad replacement for DDG to be honest. You know England’s number one playing for England’s biggest club, Ed himself will love it

Pickford is a rotten goalkeeper. His distribution is great but hes awful in my opinion

Felix is a real conundrum. The fee is high but if he is good enough should we worry about that? The deal has a feeling of being one of those lose-lose situations. Pay 100 mill, come with a 'pogba tag' and every game he plays a 7/10 he get hammered in the press. Don't get him and he turns into a player and we go mad about not getting him in now.

Only seen Henderson play once I think, and he had a bad game (vs Villa) but I still feel confident saying he'd be a better option than clownshoes Pickford.

He never wanted to spend more than his contract period (The first contract) right form the beginning. It was only when his move failed and he had to sign an extension to improve wages. Again he has no loyalty to the Club, it seems he wants out as soon as he can.

I am a bit disappointed to be honest. How we stood by him, fans, united players and ferguson who took the media on in support of him.

It is right time to sell him. No point keeping another season and losing 30 odd million. Just sell him and promote henderson for one season and see if he can do it for us. Nothing against De gea, he gave his best and deserves to continue his journey somewhere else.

Put a deadline on it then sell him ffs! I love him and appreciate him but I want every player that doesn't want to be here out .

Might be a bit premature to say this but I reckon De Gea's best days are behind him. If we can get decent money for him, I'd sell him.

Whatever happens with De Gea it would be incredibly stupid to let him go for free. I can't believe we have come to a situation where it honestly looks as if that will actually end up happening..

It's as bad as it gets, would rather stick with Romero and Henderson.

Not only that Pickford is quite the nobhead from what I have seen, having confidence is great, but he takes it a bit far, agree blood Henderson and untilise Romero to take the pressure off him... for my money Henederson stands a massive chance of becomeing England's no.1 keeper in the next 5 years if given opportunity

I think you are you right. His strength has always been his reflexes and they will only get worse with age.

He's stood by your club in troubled times longer than the other way around.

This is madness. A decent back up keeper and a promising youngster that did well at a level that is multiple times lower than the Prem. At a time when United needs to pick it up ASAP. I know this forum tends to get romantic with things from time to time but that’s just...wow. Also, people legit believe Romero is good enough to be our starting keeper?

I am not saying Romero is better than De Gea and I am not sure he has enough to be our first keeper. But everyone is hyping Henderson and if there is potential in him we better give him the chance now, support him, like we did with De Gea in the beginning and cash on big Dave. Because clearly De Gea doesn't want to stay.
What did Courtois go for? 35? I think we could easily sell him for 45/60 region and see next year if we need to reinvest for a goalie.
It won't be the first time we'll be struggling to find a goalkeeper.

Agreed but i also think we need to start calling out the players.

In the long run the ‘winner’ in any cut price deal would be DDG & his representatives.

We see these players, once sometimes twice a week for 90 minutes so I’m always hesitant to make remarks about their intentions but his performances have regressed massively & he’s had an offer in front of him for a year [plus maybe], if his intention isn’t to sign he should categorically say so.

In this instance I’m not going to berate the club. They have an asset & have been forward with a contract offer for some time; withdrawing the offer isn’t a realistic option so it’s peft out there whilst the asset doesn’t accept or refuse allowing himself to benifit.

We are a shambles of an operation but these players are getting away with murder - he’s been at the club for years & performed admirably for the majority so if he wants to leave there’s very little animosity but he’s dragging his feet & doing more damage to the club than good in this instance.

Fernandes is actually someone I really want ending up here. I'd be gutted if City got him.
