Have we created a new stage in the transfer process? Preparing to negotiate to prepare a bid?
Behavioural issues, yes. He needs to be more mindful of not attracting any negative attention. So Sancho will have behavioural issues and won't work as hard for the club because he's English? Some of the worst stuff I've ever read on here, seriously.
Just to be clear, I’d love to see Sancho sign for us! Been waiting since ages! You are basing your asumption that he can play both wings on exactly on what? He's got 20 games as senior in his career, 17 on the left and 3 on the right.
Sancho is a reality, a proven player. Ansu Fati is far from that, potentially he may be a 100M player, but right now theres a huge risk he can end up being an average player, much greater risk in any case than Sancho acting up.
I cant believe we are discussing this I dont think you can find many posters that agree with you. Spending 100M on Ansu Fati rather than Sancho doesnt even makes sense.
Write him off. History of behavioural issues from 18 to 20 in a foreign country.Behavioural issues, yes. He needs to be more mindful of not attracting any negative attention.
But I never said he ‘won’t work as hard for the club because he’s English’. Where did you get that from? Just meant he may take advantage of being English and playing for united and hence assume he has the right to get special attention or leeway.
I just think he may continue to get caught acting immature or irresponsible after having signed for us.
Playing for our club and potentially wearing the #7 does bring a lot of fame and attention and I wouldn’t want him taking advantage of that just because he’s popular. Players who think they can get away with lenient treatment after acting up eventually affect the mood in the locker room.
David Beckham, is a great example. He was a world class player but at one point he eventually took advantage of his fame and that’s when he had issues with Sir Alex.
Your effort at twisting my words was uncalled for. Specially judging them to be the ‘worst’ stuff you’ve read on here. Feel free to click on ‘ignore’ on my profile so you can avoid having to read my views or comments going forward.
Payments could be managed if we agree to a payment plan that suits them. I’m assuming we’ll be okay with a 3/4 year payment plan as long as they agree to 15m and nothing less.Boca wont have that sort of money and in the slightest chance they do they wouldn't spend it on blooming Rojo.
Boca probably won't have the money. A loan with a obligation to buy would probably be the best bet if Boca and Utd could come to a agreement.
He’s already been playing for the first team at Barcelona from such a young age.
I’d like to think of it more as an replacement for Lingard and Pereira , but guess thats just wishful thinking... sources say that neither the player or the club wants to use us as bait , but if we agreed to that it could be.
Agree, hopeful any midfield spells the end for Lingard and Periera, Lingard in particular (Periera could have limited use as a back up).
After this window i'd love to see our midfield upgraded.
Sell Pogba and Lingard, limited game time for Matic/Mata/Periera. Give Lingards limited minutes to Gomes/Garner and adding quality such as Bellingham and Van Der Beek can only improve the quality throughout the squad.
How is this an upgrade?
What a fall from grace that is. I'm sure the geordies won't care one bit though. They deserve their time in the sun I think.

Ignore that clown, he's just obsessed in Sancho not joining United.
Pushed Sancho to Liverpool for months whenever anyone mentioned the possibility of United, now he's had to change direction.

Why?
Says literally every club bar the oil rich ones. Depends how you define being loyal and dedicated....punching horses and rioting? Kevin Keegans 'I would love it if we beat them' speech? Or the most number of banning orders? Maybe they win there. Maybe thats what Mohammed bin Salman is after. Bring in some money grabbing mercenaries and punch some horses in the freezing rain.I'd say they have a loyal and dedicated fan base despite years of being shit and poor ownership. For such a footballing city, they deserve better.

He would be a cheap backupWe’re taking Bayern Munich leftovers now?
Change it to, “Fist some horses in the golden rain” and you’ve got a genre bending sex tapeGreat name for a debut album.
So according to the media and journos, we are signing VDB and Tolisso? I would like to think we are loaded but that’s just pure fantasy. Our name are just being used all over again. I also think we should never ever again sign a player which Bayern do not want
Duncan Castles saying on his podcast that a team made a 100 + 50 million (euros) in bonuses bid for Ansu Fati but was turned down, that Sport report a few days ago says it was us. It also mentioned Mendes so I'm guessing that's where Castles is getting his info.
He also says Fati feels that he will get little first-team opportunities with Barca with them signing Trincao in January and also looking to buy Lautauro Martinez and it open to looking elsewhere.
He currently earns 500k P/A
I'm not so sure after listening to the podcast. It makes sense for a few reasons. I think we genuinely see him as a viable Sancho alternative. Our links to Mendes. Ansu and Barca's situation makes it more interesting too IMO.Absolutely no way we have done that at this time. Would be moronic for a number of reasons.

I think it would be almost like a Martial type signing. Massive potential and very young, it would certainly fit the profile that we have been targeting.
Sancho would cost far more in total. He'd arguably be a similar fee upfront but Ansu would probably earn way less.Spunking that much money is too big a risk though - one we'd have learned from I'm sure. Sancho is a far lesser risk in many ways.

We have previous interest according to Castles and have made attempts to sign him previously. No way we’ve gone in that high and no way we’ve gone in that early.
If this quickly fails we can’t exactly go back to Dortmund and say yeah so Sancho - €80m in this market?
If we were offering that for Fati we’d be confirming Sancho tomorrow morning.
It's in the same ballpark as the Martial deal though IMO. We paid 56 Million for a young french kid who had played around 50 games for Monaco. That is a crazy offer for him. I didn't think he was that good to justify the price. Spend the money on Havertz instead if not Sancho.
