They are buying Mahrez who plays in his best position.

Mahrez is an out and out winger. Foden is a central/attacking midfielder, who plays in the same role as Silva for City. Just because he played there for England and did well against kids, doesn't make him a winger. He will likely never feature on the wing in a Pep Guardiola team.

Imagine if a 34 year old RB and a 30+ year old CB were our first summer signings.
The Cafe would explode.

this is the real issue with Karius having a stinker on the biggest stage. Any approach for a keeper by Liverpool will be met with - we know how much you want it, pay top whack.

I understand Karius made disastrous mistakes, but don't think they can be used to judge his quality. Mistakes aren't deficiencies, or technical ones anyway.

Liverpool do need a GK, but to replace Mignolet imo. An experienced GK + Karius should work.

Haha looks like Emery isn't too impressed with Chambers and Holding.

Gotta agree with this. Karius can rival De Gea and is not even close to Navas. They are fine with him in goal and need a better back up.

Plus Licht was suffering from heart problems, I don't know how smart is this for Arsenal or maybe they are getting him as an additional experience in the dressing room.

Lichtsteiner is a right back. Those two are centre backs. Sokratis is the new centre back they're signing.
Yes but weren't they stand-in right backs whenever Bellerin didn't play? Especially in between EL knockout games? Do remember Chambers at RB when he was at So'ton as well, although I agree that Wenger saw him more as a centre-half.

Not just Juventuz. We've had a few Juve fans from a different forum joining here over the past day or so.

Yeah apparently they have inside information that we are offering Pogba on a free loan and he is also willing to take a pay cut to play for Juventus . Fair play to Pogba he has a big heart . Also they are planning to buy Icardi and Savic for big bucks . I can definitely see them winning the next champions league .

I’d be fine with the club spending that on a good goal keeper. I don’t think we’ve had a genuinely top notch keeper since I’ve been watching Liverpool, and I’d say it’s essential if you want to win/compete for the big trophies.

You better pray you don't sign Cillessen then.

Lovely, Karius not only handed the CL final to Real, he's cost Liverpool millions and any club they want to sign a keeper from knows how deseprate they are.

You wicked one.

If city sign Mahrez then we will be a couple steps before the season starts.

It is important we get Bale so we can compete with them.

Evil! I love it.
I’m actually worried that they could postpone the issue for a season or two and just sign Buffon.

But I’ve been reliably assured that there’s no way a Juve legend will sign for that lot. :D

Why not, if I may ask?

Would've been an amazing signing a few years back but not now. Always been a huge fan though.

Can't think of any PL club that really needs him other than Chelsea and they don't have CL.
We can do with him, Jose hinted at some point last season that we could be playing with two up top. Martial-Lewa swap doesn't seem unrealistic at all right now.

Manchester City have reached an agreement with Jorginho, source told @CalcioNapoli24: €4,5M/year. Deal with Napoli could be closed around €47/48M plus bonus until €50M

Apparently I know how to add a tweet to the post. But - seems that City also move quick.
