Yeah, I'm sure they'll match the salary offers from PSG and us.

That wage could be covered by transfer fee especially how they value him as. They only prefer to sign a player who is from Bilbao or raised there as a child

It might not all be about money. He could go back "home" if he went to play for Athletic. That's something both PSG and United can't offer.

Sure. I'm not saying Athletic don't have anything to offer. I'm saying Herrera wants a big payday. Which he won't get at Athletic.

While Luckhurst is not wrong about some points, he is a Mourinho fanboy and is still sore about Jose's sacking. Should communicate his views without implying Jose should still be here in my opinion.

is he? He criticized him a lot, I think you confuse him with Castle

Both Castles and Luckhurst are full-blown Mourinho cultists.

He calls Jose "outdated" in that article. Perhaps it's not what you want to hear about our crumbling empire, but don't just dismiss it as a PR piece for Jose. Everybody needs to wake up and realise the situation we are in. This is the lowest point since Fergie left and we're spiraling out of control.

Have you forgotten the Moyes years? This isn't the lowest point.

With so many sections of the media suggesting a bleak road ahead for Utd and Ole - I think this is the perfect way to prepare for next season. Lower expectations to take a little pressure off and will give the new squad motivation to make the critics eat their words.
I am quietly confident going back to the transfer strategy that served us so well in the past might just turn us into a team to be proud of again.

Pogba being concerned about the direction of the club is completely reasonable, I think we are all concerned given we have a very inexperienced, unproven manager, greedy owners that only care about money and no DOF along with mad talk of Phelan and Fletcher being made heads of recruitment.

We are more than just “concerned” about the direction of the club but the point is that Pogba himself has been rancid on occasions where we’ve needed him the most so it’s a bit rich of him to leak this kind of bullshit as if he’s the one guy in all of this that’s above any blame and responsibility. I say this as a supporter whose favourite player is Paul Pogba. If he doesn’t want to be here, feck him off as soon as possible. This kind of absolute nonsense is the last thing we need.

Well for starters we don't know Pogba leaked anything, United are the biggest story for the UK football media no matter what and our results are giving them a field day, and they are going to attach our star player to any story they can for more clicks. The fact is Pogba is being asked to pull a train of misfits along and it's a near impossible task, you pluck Eriksen or De Bruyne out of their sides and stick them in ours and they'd be the ones getting blamed while Lingard, Rashford, Young and our CB's slide under the media radar because of their nationality. You top that off with our failure to appoint a DOF and bullshit like Phelan and Fletcher potentially getting high up recruitment jobs and it's enough to make any player worry about their career here.

Luckhurst posted a tweet with crying emoji when Mou was sacked. He is still incredibly sore about it. The Cultist.

It's as if he's happy to reduce his leverage when it comes to getting a pay raise. Very smart guy.

He doesn't need it, top clubs will be in for him every year if he performs, if not, i think he is happy there being a boyhood fan. He wouldnt have signed til 2026 if he wanted to move away after a year or two.

Will we have any players left after this summer? feck me, there only will be 5 decent players and the deadwood at this rate
