I honestly wouldn't be surprised if we didn't activate James' clause, since Kovac doesn't allegedly like him. I don't think he has been underwhelming by any means, just lack of playing time and injuries, wouldn't write him off. Can't wait to get rid of Kovac and Brazzo. Think both are out of their depth... Just my 2 cents.

Plus, he hasn't made it at Madrid or Bayern, we should steer clear.
Tbh he didn't really make it at Real or Bayern. If Bayern don't want to activate a clause to buy a player at a (seemingly) very favourable price something's up. Might just not be up to it mentally.
As @P-Nut said, I spoke as a Bayern supporter.

James was fantastic under Heynckes, like Martinez, Thiago and Müller (in form versions of themselves :P ) rolled into one. I absolutely blame Kovac for the lackluster season he's having... like basically every player in a Bayern dress.

Even if Bayern don’t want to keep him it would probably make sense to pay his €42m or whatever clause and then sell him for €60+m

Salihamidzic already said that this is not something Bayern would do.

Looks like Chiesa is mainly a right winger, so this is a no go. We cannot have any attacks coming down on that side.

You choose to spin it that way? :boring:

I'm excited that WE are finally linked to a quality RW! He looks great, and is a decent threat. He's also quite young.
It just makes me laugh when City and United both get linked to a player that'd make no logical sense for one of the clubs.

I'm not gonna read too much into it anyway, it's only Corrie dello Sport which I'm pretty sure is unreliable.

Budget should be huge in the summer really. We've signed 1 player over 2 transfer windows and got rid of Fellaini already to free up wages. With some outgoings in the summer you'd expect the budget will be there for the manager to splash the cash on 3/4 key positions.

Given that we've barely spent anything in almost 2 years, I'd imagine we have about 300m to spend (100m per window). We really need a 100m-level defender and a great player with potential for the right wing. We'd be almost set.

It's okay I hear he can play on the left too so he can provide competition for Martial, Rashford and Sanchez. ;)

It's interesting how City are always included in every transfer rumour, despite them having about 20 attacking players already.

Im aware of what you said. I don’t see the comparison. I’ve watched him multiple times this season and at no point has he in any way reminded me of Sanchez. Physically or his play style.

My friend, you love Berba, I love Berba. Can we just agree on this one? Just this one.

what City really needs is a replacement for Dihno, and already missed out on Jorginho and that FDJ kid. I see them spending big in that position, not on wingers
