Part of the rebuild as a whole with integrating youth? Maybe I've misread it but that's what I thought he meant, making sure Arsenal fans acknowledge their not just going with ready made players and still have the aim of bedding young players into the team.
continues drive to rebuild defence/squad with experience/leadership. #AFC prioritising ready players & will integrate youth (eg Mavropanos) over time

Reads to me like they're going for ready made players but balancing it out with the odd youth/youngster like Mavropanos and they've been linked to a Turkish CB called Söyüncü too. We're on the same page with similar thoughts. Aubameyang/Mkhitaryan from January, Sokratis/Lichtsteiner this window are the experienced names.

Yeah sorry that's what I meant. I agree though, similar to our transfer plans under Jose.

The will promise him more minutes and he'll say he never thought of leaving.
He would want more assurances than that though, since he has been fed that line for 3 seasons at least. First time he has come out to say he is unhappy about the situation as well.

Yep I think he will ask to extend his contract by a year or so and put in a Thiago like deal where he can leave for €XXm if he doesn’t play a certain percentage of games if fit.

Come on guys i’ve just about got my muppet on with this transfer.

If he wants to be a guaranteed starter at his next club, which most likely will be a big club, n command similar salary as what he is earning now, now would be the best time for him to move though. Thiago was like 20 when he signed that contract with the appearances clause? Bale is approaching 30 so he has no time to waste.

Why would we be interested in Grealish? Anyone?!
My Villa mate just text me that as well, and he's laughing at the possibility so I'm assuming he's poor?

He's been very good from what I've seen from the play-offs. Just not sure how he's fared over the whole season in the Championship.

He also has massive temperament issues and is a proper knob.

Cannot believe that I spent 30 precious second in an article by those fecktards. Essentially:

1) We want him, and he wants to leave.
2) England is the only option cause of his wages (650k/week). We are prepared to pay that cause we are already paying a similar package to Sanchez.
3) Real wants double the money they spent on him.

(2) and (3) are absurd.

@Raoul, is there any reason why mirror are not banned here? Seriously, they are worse than the likes of indykalia.

Yeah I agree they should banned. Typical bullshit spouter like the Daily Star.

The Mail are probably the one tabloid that produce just about acceptable transfer articles.

From this same article:

As well as Dele Alli, Harry Kane and Jan Vertonghen, Christian Eriksen is thought to be close to agreeing a new deal worth in excess of £100,000-a-week including bonuses.

Eriksen was last week pictured eating with Pochettino in a Danish restaurant and it seems the 26-year-old has been convinced to ignore rumoured interest from Barcelona.

Ornstein memes are one of the best things about twitter.

Fat chance of Spurs being able to sign him. Mind you I was thinking the other day if Martial does leave this summer, we could do worse than sell him to Dortmund for a bit of a discount and try to negotiate a first option on Pulisic as part of the deal. Dortmund need a striker and Martial could also get his wish of playing through the middle. Would be a good deal for everyone involved.

Expect Pulisic is not even that good, he is solid player who is overhyped because he is American and his marketing potential

I would also say Real have the best chances. They were in for Pogba, would be natural to go after Savic if they want that type of midfielder. Think Kovacic could be the one going out. Dont see Modric/Kroos moving, even if ageing

I don't see Real spending 100m if they didn't do it on Pogba, and aren't PSG facing sanctions? As for City.. He's not exactly a pep type is he? Thought they were likely to get Jorginho anyway.
