Terrible transfer window this things need to change at United big time! We've signed as many sponsors as players this window and its clear what woody's priority has been...

Mina demands expensive but Everton are close to signing him... Not Madrid, Bayern, Juventus but Everton... WHAT!

Chelsea and Liverpool have paid over 60 million for goalkeepers but we can't pay a decent fee for Alderweireld/Boateng/Mina.

Either were penny pinching for no reason because our revenue is second to none ir the club dont back Mourinho fully anymore.

That's the whole point of negotiations. Just because the market is broken it does not mean we should get bullied by other club's into spending crazy amounts. If Alderweireld was around 26 I highly doubt the club would shy away from spending big on him, van dijk type money. But as it stands he is 29 and is also gonna be worth 25m, I am sure they are trying to get a reasonable fee for him

Yeah, if true that seems to be the plan. No club would pay £70M for Alderweireld when he's available for much less next summer and it seems he wants to come here.

Mourinho was telling the truth. If Martial had been sold then we probably would have signed another but with the current numbers we weren't going to add and he said this 6 months ago.

He is not though is he. Theoretically yes, all of those mentioned can play on the right.
Sanchez isn't played there though. For whatever reason. I doubt this will change.
Rashford has been shit every time he was played on the right.
Lingard is also way better through the middle.
And then all that is left is Mata who looks finished.

We need a quality right winger. The fact that we have two or three players that could theoretically play there but are just not good enough can't be reason enough to just ignore that position. Get rid of players like Mata if needed. That we failed to clear out dead wood can't be an excuse for inactivity in the transfer market.

Especially considering that we are trying to get a CB when we have 5 (!) players more than capable of playing there.

Our transfer strategy if there is one has been utter shambles this window. Our biggest weakness last year was our underwhelming attack. Especially on the right. But we just ignore that.

OK so to sum up :
- Herrera wants to leave on free next year
- Darmian to stay with both other RBs injured
- Boetang snubbed us
- Price too high for all the other CB targets
- No LB / RW signing
- Martial wants to leave
- Pogba wants to leave with Barca prepared to play the long game like they did with Coutinho
- United finding it tough to sell Rojo

What A Window!

Other than that it’s been brilliant.

You missed the most crucial one of all. Fellaini re-signing. Get in

Jorginho---Kante--Kovacic.

That's a very good midfield indeed. They keep Hazard and they will be a real threat to the top 4.

Yet ppl bring up that Chelsea somehow had a worse window than us.

Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea all improved big time. Top 4 will be quite a struggle next season

It might be difficult to believe Zouma is worse than Smalling with the ball.
