If that’s all they’re asking for him, then I’m in with the predictable ‘why don’t we go for him at that price’. He’s a top player- LB and CM in one like Alaba.
I dunno, half the caf would have a heart attack with his recent injury record.

They sell Zinchenko for 16 m and we cant sell our international Italian for that amount? FFS!!

I think people need to get over this ‘Italian international’ thing. Clubs are not going to offer a lot of money for him on that basis, and they would be stupid to. You can’t just slap millions of pounds on a bid because Italy pick him, likewise if we sell Martial, we shouldn’t be including any ‘didn’t make the last France squad’ discount. Darmian is clearly an average player, as evidenced over the last few years. If Italy want to pick an average player that’s there problem. They took Iaquinta to the World Cup in 2010 and he was fecking shite.

Valid points, but Zinchenko is also pretty meh.

Heist of the century if that goes through

Wow wolves doing some damn good business. People shouldn't underestimate their support, it's a One Club City , could be the start of something

He is, but he’s a ‘promising young player’ who is coming from a top club (top ‘team’), those are always worth a few bob in the hope that there’s actually a top player in there.

I’m not sure on what basis our club seems to have concluded Darmian was worth 20m. If he were 22 or something, then a club may feel they are buying a decent future - but Darmian is what, 28? Already weighed and measured in my opinion. 12m is more than fair for him I think, and better players will likely move for less this summer, or definitely less than we’re asking, even from selling clubs who are in the business of selling high for cash.

On a side note, are the FFP mob at UEFA not taking any interest in the quite obviously shady goings on at Wolves?

I am a bit speechless on this Juventus Cristiano Ronaldo thing, is that really happening? Wow...

Guerrero wouldn’t be an upgrade on Ashley Young, let alone a top player. Haven’t seen much of him at BVB but his recent form for Portugal suggests he has serious flaws to his game. Mourinho would not appreciate his lack of positional sense & physical strength.

It's big "but" right there just to fit your argument. I meant this same guy didn't look great on his loan for PSV. Couldn't be trusted when Pep rather went with make shift full back like Delph.

Darmian is weighed and measure surely, which he has quite good level in a suitable system. You can win big with gamble like Zinchenko, yet at it stand nobody know how high his ceiling is. He is not hidden gem going under the radar. His name has been thrown around for more than couple years, yet his progression doesn't seem going anywhere. There is every chance he would end up just another great academy graduate who find it hard to make his name at top level with early fame. Who knows?

Marca, Cadena Cope and Sky Sport Italia are among the sources suggesting Real Madrid want to be clear of blame for the exit of the Ballon d’Or winner.

Ronaldo should just say:" Ask Zizou" and drop the mic. That's plenty of fuel for the flame

My point is Darmian is better than that Zinchenko guy. But still we cant sell him for that amount.

Wouldn’t believe a word “footballitalia” spouts mate. They have the dumbest bs stories going. I’m talking ridiculous claims. Nothing they say is legit that I have seen. If they come out right this minute and said United signed Fred I would not believe it.

You realise they're not the source for any of the stories though? They're simply reporting the news from other outlets.

Like Delph, Zinchenko is not a left back. He's an attacking midfielder/left winger that Pep converted. He had never played there before Pep decided to. It's no surprise he wasn't as trusted as Delph there.

Payet is crazy if he thinks he can go back to West Ham after having left that like that. I hope West Ham just say "No".
