You forgot the biggest muppet act of all.

Flight tracker!!!

Well to be fair Duncan Castles has been on point with a lot of his information and especially recently so I'm mega excited to see we are in for Bale it seems.

He would most definitely give us a world class worthy solution to the right wing area of the field and even with a sceptical fitness record this does not worry me too much. I would like to think at least one of Martial or Rashford would look to further develop their abilities to be capable of covering that position if need be.

#Fekir and his agent Jean-Pierre #Bernès should be this Sunday 03/06/2018 to #Liverpool to settle the final details of the transfer of the French international. If all goes well, medical visit in stride! #LFC

He goes on to say it’s €70 million for Fekir and Chelsea tried for him as well.

This guy will prove a stellar buy, I can't believe more clubs are not in for him.

Is this guy reliable?

Bale's probably going to want to stay at Madrid now that Zidane has gone.

After his cameo performance against Liverpool, and that world class goal, I can only imagine the next manager will use a system that will get the best out of, both Ronaldo and Bale (if they both stay).

He’s adamant about the Sandro deal, I was listening to his transfer podcast last week and he seems to think it’s a certainty.

I dont reckon we are even in for him myself or that he will leave Juventus anyway

Posted this mainly to point out the “.....wait....WHAT?” moment:
Mourinho’s interest in the Italy star will come as a blow to new West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini, who wants to sign him too.

But, while Pellegrini targets new signings, one player he is determined to keep is Marko Arnautovic.

West Ham have issued a hands-off warning, with Mourinho tracking the £50m-rated Austrian.

Everton are interested as well, but the Hammers insist he is not for sale.
Gold and Sullivan promised to get him Verratti without knowing who he is, didn’t they?

I laugh when I read that - how hard can it be to type an amount of money on a peice of paper and fax it over? No it’s all stupid middlemen these days having talks about talks
You must know I wasn't being serious. These 'working on a bid', 'preparing bid' stuff is too annoying for me as well.

The Sun ‘exclusive’ said we’re closing in on Golovin 2 days ago. Now they say we want Veratti.

I thought this too, but it must be a genuine thing to "prepare" a bid.

IIRC Luckhurst recently wrote that Fred was targeted by City which fell down in January. Fred's reps turned up on the 11th hour to see if we wanted to close the deal but we weren't prepared enough to sort it all out for that window.

Anyway one of his articles revived some Mourinnho and Carrick quotes and I found them interesting.

On one side you have the preference towards evolving our own players rather than buying someone like Bale:
"We are going again to touch our squad and to believe that more than spend, spend, spend, is probably the evolution of our players," Mourinho clarified at Wembley last month. "We have some young players that need to get with both hands opportunities with their evolution, so let's see."

Kieran McKenna's first-team promotion and Michael Carrick's role seem to agree on this outlook.
"I look at the crop of good young lads here, real, real talent: Marcus, Luke [Shaw], Jesse, Anthony [Martial], Rom [Lukaku], Angel [Gomes], young Chong [Tahith Chong]," Carrick said in April. "That’s exciting for me to think I can try and help them."

But then Mourinho has also said:
In December, Mourinho hinted 'I’m pretty sure next year [we are] going to pay a lot of money for one player.' He is unlikely to have had Fred or Toby Alderweireld in mind.

(Quotes from Sam Luckhurst's article: https://www.manchestereveningnews.co.uk/sport/football/man-utd-transfer-news-latest-14719412)

Can't see us being remotely interested in Verrattii, hasn't he dipped massively anyway?
Certainly not for that type of money.

West Ham are always attached to stories like this. I remember when they genuinely tried to get Neymar from Santos

No, I mean 'rivals are strenghthening we're dilly dallying' stuff.

Silly season is a disease, mate. Take a step back and relax:

Liverpool have signed Fabinho..besides that no other rivals have made significant moves. Everything else is still rumors of deals and what not. And if you go by that then we have Sandro, Bale, Verratti, Fred, Diogo and Alderweireld coming in. Where's the dilly dallying there?
