€80m for Bernardo Silva :wenger: Maybe Jose is onto something when he said this summer will see world transfer record being broken and players with half the ability of Pogba will go for similar prices.

I have a feeling Romelu Lukaku will go for a record fee this summer, Chelsea went up till £65 million for him last summer. Considering they'll get ludicrous sum of money for Costa in the summer, they'll probably use that to break the world record for Lukaku.

In what way? Monaco are currently sitting at the top of the league and Silva has been a large part of their form this season. He wouldn't look out of place at any of the top clubs.

And Arsenal are sitting third or whatever in the PL.

He looks like he could possibly be another 'more style than substance' player. I've watched him play a few times and he just looks the type of player Arsene would be salivating at the chance to get his hands on. Floaty 10.

I'm not speaking definitively by any means. In Siva's defence, I've seen him score some important goals when it matters. He just does look a bit Arsenal style.

Yeah he does in the sense that he's technically very good but, in my opinion, he looks a level above a lot of Arsenals players, apart from Ozil who is capable of amazing things on his day. But i can't help but think he reminds me of David Silva of a few years ago. And it wouldn't surprise me if City and a lot of other big clubs are thinking the same thing. I think he's only 22 years old too. He's got the talent and I see no reason why, with the right coaching, he won't be a top player.

Hard to imgine how Arsenal will replace such an integral player.

Arsenal have a habit of buying obscure strikers, and they never pay off, this being the latest one! Reminds me of when we were doing that with Manucho etc.

Doubt it's true about Lindelöf considering Munich have already signed Süle.

This Brazilian (with a Serbian passport) defender was linked to both Atl. Madrid and Juventus. But reports these couple of days in the newspapers (express, dailystar etc.) that have bad credibility mention that Manchester United could be interested in him. £10m. Does anyone know more about this defender? Looks really good in highlights (then again everyone looks good in those).

This tweet, says he's signed, but it doesn't show that when you look at the news, but thought I'd post this because there's a highlight video in this:

Edit: Found this on M.E.N:

United to rival Juventus for Brazilian defender
United are interested in 20-year-old Sao Paolo defender Lyanco, according to the Mirror.

The Brazilian has a Serbian passport and would reportedly cost £10m this summer.

But Juventus and Atletico Madrid are also keen on adding the talented younsgetr to their ranks.

To be honest, it makes little sense for Rooney to leave now. Even if he's only 3rd choice in the single striker position we're competing on 4 fronts with a decent chance of at least one trophy. That money will still be waiting for him in the summer if he really wants to go.

He didn't mention United once, he wasn't asked about United, he was reacting to the game and his goal from last night.

Yeah, but ”hopefully I can carry on making history here” doesn’t sound like a player looking for a move in 4 months. Not saying he won’t move, just posted the tweet. Of course MEN have used United to get clicks.

Griezmann is reading the Caf and he wants to beat Pogba's thread page record. Thus, he's playing hard to get but we all know Woody is already #1 on his speed dial and he's basically a United player.

Yeah, highly doubtful you will have competition from Bayern for Lindelöf's signature.
They have Boateng, Hummels, Süle, Martínez (and Badstuber out on a loan to Schalke).
They badly need wingers and a RB though.

Bayern need wingers? What about Robben, Costa, Coman and Ribery?

Atletico have told us they want Griezmann to stay one more season with them, but have also lined up Lacazette as his potential replacement this summer. It also says we're prepared to trigger his release clause, but hope to sign him for less when the negotiations begin.

Its going to be an anticlimactic opening day of the transfer window if we don't announce Greizmann,Semedo and anyone else we have already apparently signed.
