I too think it is a brilliant stance, but I also think it should be taken privately. Making a player look foolish in public doesn't seem like good leadership to me. Can easily tell him or his agent that they aren't interested in his posturing. Why use the press?

I'd say his agent made it public, so the club responded like wise. But I believe he's more upset at lack of playing time, not so much the wage issues. So club making him look greedy.

I personally wouldn't take any of their players in exchange for Martial.
Agreed, I wouldn't take a straight swap either for any 1 of their players. But say Kane and Alderweireld and that'd be a different story.

Will the Milan clubs finally make their big money moves this summer or will it all fizzle out for them again? Is the Serie A sleeping giant awakening or just talking in their sleep?

Guess so. Inter has mad money and Milan is expected to be finally sold this March.

Intriguing to say the least. If those clubs get their stability back, Serie A will attract a lot of talent that has been going elsewhere. Also, Champions League will get much more interesting.

If one of our players doesn't play for a game, the papers start printing stories that they're unhappy and want to leave. I swear it never used to be this bad.

Less opportunities for Rashford then? Substance to him being unhappy?

Why the hell would Ibra join a club like Napoli over staying with us?

One more year with us then MLS imo.

Possibly, but there's no way he can replace Ibra. We love our homegrown players, but we also love winning things, and unfortunately for Rashford, #9 is one of the hardest positions to blood a young player in. I don't know if a loan would suit him, or if he'd even want it, but we can take no half measures with our forwards, especially if Jose is going with one. We absolutely must have a guaranteed 20+ goal a season man, and can Rashford be that player? Probably not right now. And can Jose afford to give him a chance at a club where two losses in a row is considered a massive crisis?

He is doing well but he might be having doubts. We don;t know how the league is affecting him physically and how his family feels.

I dunno why but I get the feeling he ain't entirely happy in England, I think he will move on at the end of the season.

fecking Chelsea, he is a magnificent player and people will realise it quickly at Chelsea.

He is extremely talented, but he does have an air of the Arsenal player about him, which isn't necessarily a good thing.
