I don't really think that Paris can afford to let him go. They've issues in this area since David Luiz left this summer, letting them a bit thin with only Marquinhos and young Kimpembe. He's just putting pressure on the club to get a better contract. I bet that he will still play two more years at Paris before moving to China or Brazil

Wanted utd to sign Van Dijk in the summer to partner Smalling, I'd be disappointed if city get him, then again I really wanted Leroy Sane too for the future but I guess with mourinho we won't see signings like sane and under him we'll probably miss out on weigl too.

Definitely. He can play on the ball and is a monster physically, but that defensive system Pep implements is for masochists.

I'm not buying it, there's 6/7 of these types of players every season who get inflated way beyond their value then go on to achieve very little from their careers. Every season there's always something "different" about these types of players and why they'll go on to be a success etc but in the end they almost always fail. You're free to your opinion but I just think in a year's time no one will mention Van Dijk as a player worthy of playing for a top four club.

City had that youth player on loan at Celtic that actually played alongside Virgil for 30 odd games. You would think they would have noticed his talent when they were keeping up to date with their own fecking player.

Memphis actually not a bad shout. Still think he'll have a couple of seasons in a top league, if it doesn't work out, who knows... Young will stay with us as long as he's wanted. Really seems to love it at the club. However, if José can't promise him any more playing time next season, again a possibility. Can't see many English players moving to China though. Not crazy about moving abroad based on the past 20 yrs.
