Its official then, Pep has had a major falling out behind the scenes with Aguero and possibly KDB. Their body language and performances hav been shocking for the most part, recently, it can't be a coincidence now that Pep is considering selling.

I hope Spurs trash them this weekend and he really starts squirming.

But who would genuinely go for him? Madrid/Barca no, Atletico have the transfer ban hanging over them and not sure they could afford him so that only leaves PSG if remaining in Europe?
China.

United sign Griezmann, who suddenly has the money to buy lil kun back? OH and their ban will be reduced just like Real's was.

Cant see it due to the likely cost involved, Agueros weekly wage is probably frightening and if Arsenal are stalling on better terms for Ozil/Sanchez then couldn't see this happening. Now if they were to sell one of the two maybe.

Always a factor now though I did say if staying in Europe. :)

If the article regarding Atletico from yesterday is true they may not be able to afford to replace any players sold and use the money for something else.

I really hope that the is the messiest transfer situation of the summer and totally splits City in half.

Inter, if they can settle on a salary. Moratti said two days ago that they're due a big transfer. Plus, they've got no decent strikers apart from Icardi, who I can see leaving in the summer. PSG might be in it too.

I'll be genuinely surprised if City manage to get a win at the weekend.

It's got the same feel to Chelsea last season. The players all look like they just don't want to play for him.

Absolute arse holes really when you think what they get paid to work for the club.

Unless they have a damn fine striker lined up to replace him, selling Ageuro would be ridiculous. His goalscoring history at City is exemplary, he's scoring at a higher rate this year than ever before and he's at a perfect age for a striker. Getting a reliable goalscorer in the premier league is one of the hardest things to do. Selling one you already have is crazy talk.

Not really. Unsurprisingly lots of players love playing. So although you may have weird views on how top pros should retire, they don't really care what you or i think, and will drop to a lower standard to allow them to keep doing what they enjoy.

Obviously some are money grabbers. But again, who cares. Its a short career, and who wouldn't go to China for a year for £20 million?

Yeah if you read the following debate based on my post you would see that I didn't mean China, and even taking into account what you said, it doesn't change the fact that it's refreshing to see someone retire at the top.

It really does, and it's happened very quickly. They seem to have gone from vibrant and on top of their game to disinterested and shambolic almost overnight.

I reckon most on here would have taken Pep over Jose last summer. I can't imagine many willing to swap now though

This is mental if true.

Dont know about you guys, but the way things are going i DO believe its possible Pep wants shut of Kun/Kun wants out.

I would also say that Aguero, whilst still a brilliant player, is just starting to travel down the past it road, how quickly he gets to the cul de sac that is "finished" is anyones guess mind.

From Bluemoon regarding the Aguero article:

I hope I am wrong and it is all media bollocks, but I suspect there may actually be something going on here. I mean, why would Aguero have his agent with him, if it was just a pep talk from Pep? An interpreter possibly, but his agent??? Surely it has to have been about more than just whether Pep wants Aguero to drop deep?

Could be onto something, as Aguero speaks Argentinian and Pep Spanish...

No lie, I wouldn't have. I've always had doubts about Pep's ability to overcome adversity because he's never had to. His previous successes have been with ready-made world beating teams. I knew he would have difficulties adapting to the league and especially, such a competitive league.

I also didn't buy into the notion that one disastrous season means a manager has 'lost it'. So I genuinely did want Jose over Pep. Not saying Pep won't turn it around, or finish above us, or win trophies. But if he does, he'll prove me wrong coz the man has never struck me as a 'fighter' and believe me, he's got to put his gloves on now and start scrapping.

Hand up. I really want Pep. Mou was first choice when he's at Chelsea and Inter but once Pep said goodbye to Barca he's the only one that's perfect. How wrong am I.
How can I know Mou will be willing to change himself in some aspects to fit with the club?

Pep on his mission to destroy City  Hart, Kompany, Toure, and now Agüero. Their best players, their core that brought them all the titles they ever had. Yes please, sell him, bomb ManC back to the 70s :)

Madrid no?? Why the heck? He is a lot better then Benze, would be immediately their star striker. He would get into the first 11 from pretty much any club in the world, apart from Barca who have Suarez..but after him Agüero is pretty much number 2 in the world (alongside Ibra who isn't getting younger)

He played for Atletico.
