This should be our formation. If we buy Griezmann, we have to play him as a secondary striker else it makes no sense at all. We should just sign Eric Dier and not Keane since Dier can play both CB and CDM. Make these three signings and then promote the kids like Tuanzebe, TFM, Pereira, Mitchell and Harrop. That should more than cover all positions.

He's starting as he's (in the mangers eyes) outperforming the other options. Martial and the others were purchased to be a starting 11 players.
 
He is actually similar to Mata tbf. However he is quicker and is a much better dribbler, can keep the ball better too (seems stronger).
Basically hes a better version

He really isn't. He might have a little faster feet/acceleration, but he is hitting top speed after 5m, and then he is slow as a slug. I have seen countless counter attacks deflagrating because he received the ball as furthest forward player and got caught by the next defender within seconds. He can definitely initiate counter attacks, but if he is on the receiving end it's over
 
Not sure I'd include Mkhi in my front three if we land Silva etc.

Far too erratic in possession, probably prefer Martial there to be honest.

Rash up front, AG7 behind and Silva on the right.

Honestly, I'd take him. Would be an awesome reserve striker, I'd expect double figures from him.

He's really not. Mata is a finisher, and Bernardo is a creator.

A forward player who has scored 1 league goal this season for Manchester united and seen much action is terrible no matter how much you want to dress it up.

We will get shreded into pieces defensively with that mid and will be calling our defense shit !!! ...And no natural width too .. Cant see much scintillating stuff quite frankly !

Yea but he's first choice though. Squad player that starts every week, even when the 'first-team' players are fit.

We can say the others haven't performed, but neither has he, and they are better players than him, so playing them into form is probably more beneficial anyway.
 
We can switch to a form of 4-4-2, with midfield & attack being:

Silva - Herrera - CM(defensive minded) - Pogba (more of a free role)

Griezmann
Rashford

This formation will be better defensively & we can switch to more formations within the game without changing the personal
