If we do a deal, and thats a big if, we should be looking to involve Verratti in the transfer. But i doubt Pogba will leave

Meunier:
I do not ask too much for now, what I want is to play football. If I have to go down a notch to be able to be on the pitch, I’ll do it. We will see how it goes, I have two more years in Paris, my goal is to stay in. I like it a lot, just like my family. The club did not contact me, it’s hard to predict.

I could aim at a club like Everton, Valencia or Dortmund. Michy Batshuayi did really well going there, the fun is playing football, and that’s the only thing I miss right now.

Let's not sell a great asset that we rarely get in the transfermarket - Let's make him work his magic here instead

PSG do not yet have the pulling power they think they have. Even if it is a French player. Not from a club like ours.
They took Neymar off barcelona. Their pulling power (€€€) works just fine

Do not want now, even though I rate him highly before. Sound like one of those self entitled Belgium footballer who would feel enough by having his way rather the benefit of the team. I meant. If he said he just wanted more game time and leave it there. Fine. Everton level is good enough/ better than a squad player at PSG trying to push for CL? :wenger:

Selling Pogba would probably result in a fan meltdown, cant see it happening atleast not in this window, if another player like Neymar or Mbappe is involved then maybe otherwise not a chance.
Weird comments by Meuiner surely he should have chosen better sides to namedrop than fecking Everton. Maybe he reckons thats the level he should be playing at or just being humble maybe. Very unambitious lad him

He mentions Valencia and Dortmund as well lads. He just wants to play. I'm sure better clubs will take him. Putting pressure on PSG to become a starter is a bold move. Not sure it'll be tolerated and he will indeed be up for transfer in the summer.

PSG play Davi over Meunier because of Neymar. Meunier is probably one of best top 5 traditions RB in the world, I can't blame him if it means he has to find club no matter if they are Barca or Spurs but all he wants is to play.

Still, fecking Everton?
Who wants to play under Big Sam?
Could have at least name dropped some mid table club like Arsenal
I understand your point though he is desperate for playtime. If the price is right wouldn't mind him at OT

Meanwhile, Agent Pogba and Lukaku are chilling out with Griezmann, Manchester United target. Sun and Mirror will report it soon :lol:

Sometimes he has to sacrifice for the club like of Everton if no top club comes in for him.

Big Sam won't be there past the summer. Mirallas and Lukaku probably spoke of the club in good terms to Meunier.

Yes, seems like he first wants to prove himself and also enjoy his football properly, so he named those clubs which have a family atmosphere and minimal pressure. Not merely a lack of ambition, that.

From Matt Law too who I think is fairly reliable for Chelsea, doesn't mention any replacements though. Wonder who they might get?
They have Giroud and another guy who's been scoring for fun in Dortmund...

Think they'll focus more on midfield and defence

Probably depends on the manager first. No surprise about Morata though, he's been clear how much he likes Italy and his wife is also Italian.

I don't think Giroud is good enough and I'd be surprised if Batshuayi wanted to go back, he had a really poor time at Chelsea, his chances were few and far between and when he did get them he never impressed.

Just don't think he has that presence Drogba or Costa had for Chelsea either, seems timid in comparison.

Weren't there reports of the interest in Carroll or Crouch?

The story isn't about PSG poaching Utd's best players against their will but about Utd and Pogba being open to a move (and SMS possibly replacing him in Manchester). It follows on the recent media agitation around Raiola.

That´s the same mistake United made with AdM. These players wanted first team football and they wanted out of Madrid. They did not want United or Chelsea. They just said hey the money is the same, maybe I like it there. If not , it can´t be any more difficult to get out of there than it is at Real Madrid. For them it´s a nothing to lose situation. For the clubs it just sucks.

Bayern did the smart thing with the two year loan of James Rodriguez, because that was essential the same situation. He wanted out of Madrid. Madrid wanted €70M and Ancelotti was a familiar coach. I´m sure James never expected to land in Germany. If they don´t get Heynckes back, who is probably the only German top coach fluent in Spanish, this probably goes wrong just like AdM and possibly Morata.
