If DDG does go, Oblak would be a good replacement for us .
Sounds like De Gea tbf.Would rather go for Butland. Home grown, physically suited to the league and an excellent keeper. Oblak will not cost much less than Dave will be sold for and whilst a very good shot stopper, I’d wager he’d struggle with set pieces here.

Hello, Vidic 2.0!
Reminds me of Vidic but he mainly plays DM more than CB? He has a great pass and shot on him though lol.
He plays as a CB for Inter, havent seen him at DM. Was a great transfer from them, must be said
bloody hell wins allot of the ball from near the midfield for a CB and drives it far enough to take a shot. He's not scared this lad is he?
Not a weekly Inter watcher, but he seems to be the perfect modern CB. Good and calm on the ball, decent pace and strength , good technical abilities for a CB, good shot and also good headers. I dont know if that is his normal form or just a great season, but for a 22 year old CB coming from Sampdoria, he looks like a seriously talented CB. I do think he gets a bit overhyped due to his current output.
I remember the days when Nastasic was apparently Vidic 2.0Hello, Vidic 2.0!

Why would he struggle with set pieces?
Courtois did well didnt he? Who was the last top keeper to come from La Liga to the PL before DDG? Reina? When was the last time a keeper from Spain settled quickly into the EPL? Even the very best of them struggled for a long time with the physical side of the game. Plus he's smaller than Dave and from what I've seen isn't great at commanding his area.

Bravo..
Yeah theres not enough of a sample for you to make that claim about La Liga keepers.
There's no need to be sarcastic.Bravo..
Yeah it doesDoesn't really need a sample, the game in Spain is very different, physically dominating keepers will adapt better to the Premier League, over keepers who are around 6ft and not used to lenience of the refs. Dave, Valdes & Bravo all had or even still have issues.
As I said 'if' Dave goes I'd rather not downgrade and pay almost the money we get for Dave to replace him.
100M on a Goalkeeper?
They would have to bound and gag Wenger in a locked room for this transfer to happen, at that price (release clause). At best I can see us offering Atletico players plus cash but in no way is Arsenal spending that much on a keeper. Not with all the work that needs to be done elsewhere, DM, CBs and FBs.
If we do want a keeper, and we should, then I can see Wenger going for Butland (English premium notwithstanding) or Timo Horn
Mata is probably in the out-tray regardless of new contract offer. There are no players Atletico would want.

I got confused. As you were.We were discussing Arsenal players I believe.
