Would be a good option for the reasons described above. He's actually younger than VdS when he joined us.

I'd sell Evans but some are forgetting how good he can be when in form.

I used to like him, I also think that his abilities are quite good, but he isn't mentally capable of handling pressure and most fans don't rate him and he will always be under pressure. He was good while SAF was here and he had his safenet

That gregory sports lawyer bloke who knew about depay just tweeted 'incoming 0049'.

0049 is the international dialing code for Germany

Hmm, if true it seems they could be planning to just call United's bluff and wait a year to get De Gea for free. Very risky strategy, a lot can happen in a year.
Surely that would be an incredible risk considering their potential transfer ban?

Maybe they'll just sell Navas after that feck up against Espanol and keep Casillas. Barcelona have been playing Bravo in Primera and Ter-Stegen in the CL, so Real could to a similar thing with Casillas and De Gea. On the other hand, signing Navas on a five year contract last summer would seem utterly pointless.

Is that good news?

Probably doesn't change anything. In the last couple of days the Spanish papers have been saying that at first De Gea wanted to wait until Casillas leaves Real Madrid to join, but apparently he's changed his mind and is now relishing the challenge to compete with Casillas for the starting position (combined with some stuff about how much he respects him etc.)

They'll probably get rid of Keylor Navas, who's barely played all season.

AS: German radio station Deutschland Radio say Klopp has agreed to manage Real Madrid next season.

Van Gaal on next season: "I will do my utmost best, we shall fight to the end and make the right decisions when buying players."

Daily Mail: Van Gaal predicts busy summer:

When asked if he expected the window to be busy, the Dutchman replied: 'Yes of course.

'It's always like that. Our selection is out of balance - we have managed to be fourth but we have to manage to be champions.

'We also have to improve our selection. It shall be a rough summer for a lot of players but I think a top club like Manchester United has to do that.'

This is a fecking rollercoaster

And its not even June 1st yet. Its going to be a long one.

In response to one of his followers he later said that the station knows nothing of this report.

Yeah, was just pointing out that the station did in fact exist, wasn't commenting on the veracity of any claims made by them or by anyone else citing them as a source. Seems an odd mistake to make when you can literally just put the name in google and find out in about 5 seconds.
