I guess he might be right about the physicality issue but it is increasingly frustrating with people pointing out every single flaw in a defender. Let's face it, there are no strong, intelligent, fast, leader type defenders who can play and distribute and start out attacks. The solution is to look for what we need, characteristics we want for those needs and build a team that doesn't expose whatever weaknesses the defender has. Are there gonna be games where their flaws are exposed? Of course! But this search for perfection is futile and will only lead to disappointment.
