People seriously needs to calm down, he's only just recently broke into the league, and yea he's showing huge promise and dominating already, but that doesn't mean that he can't stay a year and continue to develop there, still just learning the game as a pro.

I agree it is absolutely early doors but I think the key think with youngsters is to keep pushing them. Dutch football is brilliant for youngsters too because of their total football upbringing. It is all set up to develop youth. I think too many of our academy prospects suffer from stagnating because they don't play week in, week out against decent opposition in the reserves league.

If Cleverley does turn down a move I hope we don't ever see him in the team or on the bench.

I think the same, he owes the club, if he goes on a free we need to ban him from carrington.
.

The Liverpool Echo and Tony Barrett are saying we want Valdes, but aren't in a rush to do a deal as we can sign him after deadline day.

Great that we're looking to get Falcao. Now we just need someone to get the ball off the opposition so we can give it to Falcao...

We'll see.

If he stays and fights for a place then fair dues to the guy. Really don't get the hatred people are firing his way.

Because his presence compromises our performance, which compromises our results....

the selfless thing would be to leave the club so that we can progress. The selfish thing would be to stay, knowing he lacks the quality, and continuing to limit our end product.

Still trying to digest the fact that we went for Falcao! I hope we still look at reinforcing our midfiled, Blind is not going to be the solution to our crappy midfield

I do wish you would stop saying "we" when referring to Liverpool. I only skip through the comments, "we" is never Liverpool, you may refer to your club as "it"

I think he needs to leave for his own sake. He will rarely play. His career and reputation need a lift. Not playing or playing with the U-21 is not going to do that. His options might be even less if he just sits on his contract. I just hope it isn't his wage demands that are causing problems. Tom, take a pay cut and get your career back on track.

Imagine how cool it would be if they kept a surprise signing inside that costume.

To be fair @BarneyLFC has atleast part "LFC" in his username. It's much worse if user named "Tony" uses phrase "we" and it turns out after 2 hours that he's Everton fan.

It's fecking boring anyway. 'We' couldn't give a shit who Liverpool 'might sign after the deadline'.

The selfish thing would be to believe in his own ability and believe he's capable of turning it around? That's absolute nonsense.

I'm not saying he shouldn't leave or that he won't. I'd be happy for the guy if he decides to leave to get regular football and get things back on track. I'd also have no problem with him staying at the club and deciding to try to turn it around with us. Like I said, the shit he get's is ridiculous to an certain extent. A good chunk of our squad was just as poor last season, the guy's confidence is completely shot and that's clearly playing on him performance wise. Cleverley is a perfectly acceptable player to have in the squad if he can get his confidence back, whether he believes he can do that here or if he needs to leave, we'll see.
