He's dominating the Norwegian league, which is impressive at 15, but he still got a lot to learn and would benefit greatly from staying at Strømgodset for another year or two.
Problem is that (as i said) he won't be able to be loaned straight back, since the Norwegian transfer window is closed.
 
As much as I like Falcao (been a fan since he played for River Plate) he alone today wouldn't really satisfy me.. Still need a central midfielder and a centre back. Come on Ed.

Yeah, your right about that, but its possible to do the deal now. The deal could be that we get him after the norwegian season is finished, or something like that.

Qualify for CL. Still lose only world class player. Sign lots of dross to replace him. Get rejected by Falcao, Sanchez among others.

Seems like our best chance is loaning him out to Everton if they're indeed interested in him.

Doesn't he only have one year left on his contract? Doesn't make sense to me

Looks to me like he needs to go up a league now to keep progressing as I think he has hit a ceiling in the Norwegian league. I would say buy and loan to a top half Dutch team (maybe PSV who have a track record of playing young players and play attacking football). He could also link up well with Depay who we should be looking at seriously next Summer IMO.

We were on the verge of a great deal with Villa for him but he fecked it up. Now it's either loaning him out or keeping him for another season. If we're not receiving a transfer fee for him, at least there's a chance of Everton paying his wages until his contract expires.

They could do a similar deal to Barry's - loan him until his contract with the parent club expires and then sign him permanently as a free agent. Besides, Martinez seem to rate him highly for some reason.

I hope that's not the case. He needs football and isn't going to get it at United. He has to be play somewhere.

People seriously needs to calm down, he's only just recently broke into the league, and yea he's showing huge promise and dominating already, but that doesn't mean that he can't stay a year and continue to develop there, still just learning the game as a pro.

If he is thinking of sitting on his contract he is truly an idiot. He isn't playing and with the signings won't play He will be forgotten by the time his contract expires and out of shape.
