That was probably the greatest injustice I've seen on one of these. It was far and away the most balanced side around, rock solid, but it just bored the feck out of everyone so we ended up voting another team through :o

You are doing it the wrong way. The value of having Lucho is you can settle for your formation and sign people knowing he will be superb in two different roles so you can have peace of mind on them. You don't build around him, he makes things fall in place.

The way you are approaching it it seems Lucho is the problem, not the solution.

Exactly, now you get it. That's why your German team went out too. It just worked too well, so efficient, so little left to the imagination, so few reasons to ever vote against it later which makes the remainder of the draft predictable as feck... Much much better to have Zidane and Redondo tonking it.

Not at all, now that I have Giggs, I have to play with wingers(not that theres anything wrong with it), I have a few options with the players I have(Giggs, Enrique, Seedorf) I'll be playing either 4-2-3-1 or 4-4-2, the question is how to play Enrique, and that's a good thing not a bad thing.
Either play him in the midfield duo next to Seedorf, than getting another winger and a AM/SS, or as the AM and get a partner for Seedorf and a RW, or play him wide right and get an AM and a partner for Seedorf.

It's a healthy headache, Enrique is definitely not the problem, he's an infinite solution, no matter what road I'll choose to go, Lucho will be there to make it work.

I imagine and understand someone in particular preferring some other player instead for their team. What I don't get is how people seem to expect to find a cut-price Pires in a bargain box down the alley when he has gone for 32M.

In fact, some players are going really cheap here making the likes of Messi at 115M completely insane. Mind, paceme has earned his crust here, it's more 96M actually which make Cristiano the pricey one.

You don't need a man in the hole when you have that midfield trio.

There's no way I would play 4-4-2 with those two midfielders. They never played it, so why would they start doing it for you in a draft game?
