Go Cycling they said. It will be fun, they said.

Love this. It's a bit grim to say, but this chaos makes it more interesting all of a sudden.

What are those things they have on the back of their saddles? Not ass savers....

Great innovation those. They can track each rider and give accurate stats on their location, speed, etc.
Unless they use someone elses bike ;)

 That was one of the most bizarre things I've seen in the TDF.

All over now. Some great scenery along the way which for me is a highlight.

I hope none of the contenders get done for doping as that will kill the sport.:nervous:

Well done Froome and Sky. The other teams not really posing any threat which is disappointing for the race as a spectacle.

Sad to see Purito announce his retirement who has been one of the most enjoyable riders to watch in the last decade and more.

Vuelta should be a better race.......:)

I saw only the last 20 mins or so. Sky riding together to the finish line looked good. Greipel edging Sagan for the sprint finish was great for him.
Would have preferred a break up of the team Sky monopoly but that's for another year.
As usual, Paris looked amazing.

Cav would have killed that. In all fairness, if he didn't drop out here and 2008, he'd most likely be equal to Eddy, well definitely on 32 because he would have won on the Champs both times.

Griepel is 34 though and still going so so well, so winning 5 stages over the next few years shouldn't be out of the question for Cav. TDD set up nicely for him, and all his training will now be solely focused on achieving that record. Will likely hold it for longer than Eddy did too.

Best part of the tournament is the model french women that accompany the riders to the podium. Peter Sagan got to go up twice with two qualify birds each time !

Got to hand it to SKY.

This year, they even came without a Sprinter and with just a single focus / purpose - to get Froome in 1st place overall.

The whole group of them were simply outstanding at doing their job, day and in day out. Absolute professionalism coupled with superb individual effort and teamwork.

You could put Froome in any other team and his (now) three overall 1st place results would probably not have happened.

Yep. Frightening really. When you got a rider like Michal Kwiatkowski not making the 9 man team then you get an idea of how strong this team is. It's an achievement in itself just to make the team, and it's a shame that they don't all get to go on the podium the way they've riden like clockwork these last 3 weeks. The challenge has been laid firmly at the doors of the other teams - It won't be easy for them to break this domination, and for sure, they'll need to be far less passive, take the initiative and be more imaginative - a bit like Bardet actually.

Sky won the time trial in the Vuelta yesterday, unsurprisingly. I am not too sure on who are in all the teams, have not looked it up yet. Anyone else watching?

Hey Grumpy. I started a seperate thread :).
Not too sure of the form of the contenders and Froome has obviously done the Olympics. Good to see Kwiatkowski and Konig on the team for Sky and will be interested to see what Contador can do.
