Tour de France 2016

I'm a massive Sky and Froome fan and would dearly love for him to pull off a 3rd TdF win but they do have by far the strongest GT team, especially this year which IMO makes them nigh on impossible to beat. Not saying he isn't the best GT rider currently, because he is, but being in a team as strong as this makes him even more of the strong favourite he already is. Of course anything can happen in a 3 week race, but everyone in the peleton knows they are the team to beat.

Yup, and Sky knows it too. They are the alpha's in the pack, so to speak.

Fantastic again from Steve Cummings, it seems like he always finish the job when he goes on a breakaway. 4th stage win for Dimension Data and Britain.

What the actual feck, that was impressive and incredibly dangerous. Sagan-like.

I'm stunned. Froome has always been defensive on descents, but then he does that and look like Savoldelli. WTF?!

At least people can't accuse him of doping for that.

You see him pedalling down hill in that aero position.....my jaw was on the floor lol
So dangerous at the speeds he was going too. One little wobble and he would have been fecked. What a ride.

Fantastic win for Froome, so easy to crash on a descent nevermind using that position :annoyed:,

Looked like Quintana took a drink at the wrong time.

Lovely weather for the finish
Somehow it made the fnal KMs even more interesting. Very fun stage today, really enjoyed watching it. Super happy for Dumoulin obviously.

Ahhh man! Loving this.

@ Mark_GrumpyLion Nice win from your man Dumoulin on stage 9. One of the stand out riders in the last 12 months!

I suspected he would do something like that today. In his interview yesterday he said today would be a nice relaxing day

It was the last thing the other teams would have expected, with Ventoux coming up.

I am beyond happy for him. Deserved it as well, fought for it all day. The picture I posted above is my phone wallpaper now. It's also the only Dutch success I can see this tour, besided a good top 10 spot for one or two riders and people like Wout Poels flying below the radar as Domestique's.
