He then pleaded guilty and offered no defence.
He'll be out in 11 months, so pay on a par with an MP.

There's a rumor going around saying that his defence team were offered that deal if he pled guilty where if it went to trial he could get 5-7 years. Apparently Tommy and his team weren't confident of getting a fair trial and consider the public dislike of him too high a risk to get a not guilty verdict from the jury.
